The staff was helpful, might need to use a translation app on somethings, but good. The room had paint peeling, but it happens. It's a pretty convenient location and right near the station! I'd stay there again in the future.

Stayed here twice during same trip to Taiwan. Very conveniently located near Taipei Main Station. Nice communal kitchen for coffee and complimentary laundry facilities. Friendly staff too. Will stay here again next visit to Taipei!

The hotel is in a good location, only 10 min from the MRT. The staff is really friendly . They found out it was my husband’s bday and surprise him with some cake .

The location was great (3-5 mins walk to Taipei Main station) and the staff were very kind. But this is an old hotel and not very well maintained, rooms are tiny. I paid HKD2,400 for new year's eve, have a feeling i overpaid way too much. In normal season i guess about HKD 1,000 would be good enough

Location is good. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. However your happiness is greatly dependent on which room you get, even within the same price category. Some room types are clearly much better than others. Sound proofing is really poor too. If you are easygoing, it’s still value for money. Staff service recovery is excellent too.

I stayed in one of the small, no window rooms. Even the hotel is close to a busy street, there is no noise, and I didn’t feel cramped. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room has everything I need: bottled water, coffee, tea, tea kettle, safe, slippers. Toiletries include shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush/toothpaste, shower cap, comb, razor, floss, q-tips. I didn’t need to use anything I traveled with. The hotel even has a kitchen area, where you can use the microwave, or get free cup of noodles and granola bars. Also there are washer/dryer, detergents you can use for free, which I made use because I needed 3 changes of clothes each day. I had a very nice stay in the beginning of my trip in Taipei, so I booked another day at the end of my trip when I returned to Taipei. The hotel is only 7 minutes walk from the airport MRT station, and the main Taipei station for the high speed rail, train, and city subway. You can’t find any place better.

A few minutes walk to the HSR Taipei Station and a few min more to the Taipei Main train station. We stayed in a windowless double room. It was small but clean. The water pressure for the shower was amazing. The stairs have unusual heights which may not be to code for US standards but just be careful going down if you use them. Little touches make all the difference - they store luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room has some small snacks. Laundry is free (although we did not use it). The small kitchen has Asian cookie rolls and a good espresso/coffee and ice tea machine. No breakfast is provided but you can get breakfast on the street or on the station. Good value and great location. I would definitely stay here again.

Called the hotel for directions to the hotel, the staff was friendly and patience to guide on where and how to go. Upon arriving at the hotel, their warm greetings and hospitality was nice.. Hotel is near train station; we took slightly less than 10 minutes to get here from Taipei Station. Room was very clean and we really appreciate the complimentary drinks and snacks that were available in our room. Love the well-stocked pantry area at the ground floor too. Reception staff were friendly and always ready to greet with a smile. Airport transfer was reasonably priced too.

Good hotel, pleasant staff
Room is a little small but super cosy. All staff are pleasant. Toilet flush system is good. Do take note there is no proper wardrobe to keep your clothes though they have a few hangers provided. There are biscuits provided in the kitchen and after 10pm, they do offer 3 flavours of instant noodles if you are hungry. This hotel is located near macdonalds, 7-11 and KFC and is about a 5-10min walk from the Taipei main station. It is walking distance to the ning xia night market.

Place was central to transport and restaurants. Excellent service and throw in lots of extras-washing machines, Jura coffee machine, cool drinks. Place was spotless clean too. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Fabulous
The amenities are good and it was very comfortable . The staff is friendly and Shino was very helpful as well as knowledgeable. She was also very responsive with email queries. It was great having a snack area and the service is impeccable. Will stay again when I visit again.

We received such incredible service at City In II, from the hospitable staff to laundry service, kitchenette. Special thanks to Lily and Ling for their assistance in planning our trip to Taroko. They were superb! We will certainly return. City Inn II was our home away from home.
