“my shilo stay”
I would have to say the best part about our stay was the 24 hour pool since usually when we stay somewhere by the time we are ready to use the pool in most hotels they are closed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant we never met anyone who did not acknowlege us. The night maintence/pool guy was superb, very friendly and seemed to take pride in his job.
“wonderful hotel in quiet neighborhood with numerous dinning option nearby”
Room was clean and spacious. Staff was kind and courteous. Indoor heated pool and hot tub were wonderful way to end a busy day. There are several restaurants nearby. The hotel is in quite, safe neighborhood, but only blocks away from major highways. Rates were reasonalbe, I will select Shilo Inns whenever possible for my future travel plans.
“Great Stay at the Shilo”
Needed a cheap, clean comfortable room in Tacoma and picked the Shilo. Everything was to our satisfaction. The room was clean, the breakfast was typical and the pool/spa area was spotless & functional. The staff was nice and everything was as excepted. Would choose this again if we were to go to Tacoma.

This is a very nice hotel - they have it all, amenities, comfort, great people and location! Close to the Interstate but not so close as to be bothered by road noise. You can walk to many dining locations, at least 10, which provides a lot of variety.

The accommodations were great: the pool, jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna, and the morning breakfast-all were fabulous. Freeway noise was a little annoying.
“Not bad and the price was reasonable!”
I came to Tacoma to attend an Expo in Puyallup. The front desk clerk was pleasant and seemed glad to have me there. Everything was in order. The room was nicer than I expected for the price, although the carpet needed some extra attention (old stains). The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean. The hotel had a teenage sports team also staying there which concerned me for noise, but the rooms are very soundproof and I didn't hear any other guests or traffic noise. Breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good and hot in the morning. I do wish that the television service "Lodgenet" that so many hotels use would skip some of the 5 ESPN channels and try a movie channel or even the "History Channel". But at least the internet service was good and easy to connect, so I watched some TV on that.
“Shilo Inn Tacoma”
The hotel was more than I expected. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the pool and spa were open 24 hrs. I would definately stay there again.
“Great Hotel”
Great hotel! Close to numerous restaurants. Great beds with pillow-top matresses - slept well both nights. Really good continental breakfast with waffle bar. Swimming pool open 24 hours a day. What more could you ask for!
