“Better than I expected”

Some reviews said their bed is as hard as rock. This is the major concern while booking for it. Later I found the bed is perfect to me and I have no complain about it. The room is clean. The area is close to I-5 but very quite. I'd stay here again if I visit this area. Can't beat it with the value.

“Good value”

I've never been to Tacoma before, so getting around proved to be ... interesting. However, once you figure it out, access to and from I-5 is pretty easy. Once I found the hotel, the staff was very accommodating and check in went without a hitch. Both drive-in and sit down restaurants are within just a few blocks. A good grocery store is within five miles. Overall, it's a good location and the price is certainly right. Other than cooking utensils (one pot, one pan, one knife), the kitchen was stocked with two of everything ... plates, silver, glasses, etc. The cook top microwave and fridge all worked fine. There was plenty of room for two adults. Wifi worked fine. Not fast enough to stream a Netflix movie, but adequate for just about everything else. Overall, it was a good value. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive room with a kitchenette.

“No problems but beds.”

While the room was clean and the amenities were acceptable, the beds were WAY too hard. I read other reviews concerning beds, they were spot on. All else was great, though. Clean, helpful staff, good price, close to things.

“Bargain”

Located on a business strip but adjacent to quiet residential area; near Tacoma, just off I-5. Nothing fancy but it was clean, safe, and bargain priced.

“Average hotel, great price, great service personnel”

Stayed 4 nights, the receptionist's were very polite, friendly and helpful. Beds are quite firm and the shower has a lot of power. The room was clean and NO bedbugs! I would stay again.

“Nice place to stay”

Crossland Tacoma was a fairly nice hotel for the price. It is an extended stay place with a mini kitchen. My only complaint was the bed was hard as a rock and it made the loudest, squeakiest noise I've ever heard in a hotel bed. Other than that, the location was good, the room was clean, the staff was nice and accommodating, the walls were well insulated so I never heard the people beside or above me, and it was easy to find. I'd stay there again.

“good for the price”

The room had a very strong chemical smell. It was from the cleaning products, so at least we knew the room had been cleaned. The smell was strong even the next morning.
