Spa
Claras Spa and Salon has 9 treatment rooms including rooms for couples. Services include massages, facials, body wraps, and body scrubs. A variety of treatment therapies are provided, including aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. The spa is equipped with a mud bath, a sauna, and a spa tub. Visitors of this spa can round out their time of relaxation with a trip to the boutique.
The spa is closed on Monday. Children under 15 years old are not allowed in the spa without adult supervision.

Hotel staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was delicious and an excellent price for the all the food that was served. We left very happy!
“Good hotel in downtown Tacoma”
We were attending a Tacoma Dome event. This hotel turned out to be an excellent choice. There were a few restaurants, starbucks, bakery within walking distance, as well as UW/Tacoma. Convention center right accross street. There was a free tram/train that we could catch from right outside the hotel over to the Tacoma Dome. Only about 5 minutes away. Only problem was that it stopped running well before our event was over. But it was easy to get a cab back to hotel. Hotel desk staff very friendly. Hotel condition was very good. Self park was a little bit awkward. Across and down street in a grungy & dark parking lot. Wouldn't recommend an alone arrival in that lot. If so, do the valet parking for only $5 more/night. Would definitely go back.
“Great access to downtown Tacoma”
We booked this room at the last minute and on a whim to take a weekend trip to Point Defiance Park and Zoo. We found the staff to be helpful and attentive. The facilities were as nice as you'd expect for a downtown hotel across from a convention center (very business oriented). The room was next to the elevator but was still very quiet. Internet was complimentary and quite fast, even when using a VPN. Overall, the stay was quite nice and we will be staying here again.

“Good value and location”
We had two days here and all the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice, not rushed and relatively quiet. Transport right outside the door. Room was fine- clean and spacious enough for us.
“Awesome”
This hotel and staff are awesome. They made our trip very relaxing and enjoyable. Would love to go back for our anniversary in October but we live 7 hrs away so it probably won't happen. Parking is a challenge for this hotel, but they handled it very efficiently.
“Good Choice in downtown Tacoma”
The Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown is an excellent choice if you need to be near just about anything in downtown Tacoma--the Museum of Glass, the Federal Courthouse, History and Art Museums, the bank towers of offices. Nice rooms, good view of the port and The Pacific Grill, tucked into the corner of the hotel, is rated as one of the best restaurants in the city.
“Tacoma Surprise!”
Best stay I've had in a long time... staff and chef (morning breakfast bar) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Would stay there every time I go to Tacoma! JNM
