The blackout curtains would not close and whatever was used for the bed foundation made a noise just from sitting o the bed.

Thank you for your feed back! We have had maintenance check out the black out curtains to make sure they were fully on the winder or not moveable, it seems as you may have been trying to close the sheers.

It was quite loud when our neighbors shut their door each time. It shook the walls and made the wall shake. It was an overall clean place but we just weren’t thrilled with the stay.

Very clean, pleasant environment, staff all helpful and courteous. Only issue was that there are no moveable louvers on the heat/AC unit, to direct the air flow off of us. Otherwise, great.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it was convenient for shopping. The hotel is extremely outdated, the mattresses were horribly uncomfortable, every door on our floor would slam shut all through the night rather than gently close and there was a very large dog in the room next to us that barked all morning.

Your staff is absolutely wonderful. Sue was so welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. Our kids made sure to go out of their way to say thank you to her. Pool was chilly but kids still loved it. Our room was huge and quiet. We would stay here again for sure.

Had to manually check in, even though id followed instructions for checking in and getting digital key, but check in was pretty quick and staff was delightful.

Thank you for your feedback Miss Pierce. We take these reviews very seriously. I do see that you did check in with our new hire which we appreciate your patience with as it was a hectic night. As i did not stop at the desk to check out either. So we are really unsure at what issues you had with staff at our property as our Front office Manager was on site all evening and didn't receive any complaints about staff.

Pool n hot tub were great touch for us family of 4. Only 1 elevator working was a bit of a pain as it was long waits to get up n down. Fridge kinnda worked but not fully keeping drinks cold.

Hampton Inn has a usually standard, but not this one. The room and the facility has some repairs to do: 1. one of the elevators was out of service and the second one had some issues with the bottoms (They did repair it the next day). 2. The room was not properly vacuumed. 3. The bathtub drain did not drain properly. 4. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom needed some repairs (The shower wall has a crack in it. The shower unit is missing a face plate). 5. Many of the front desk staffers were not that friendly. Most did not take the time to greet us. These are all things this hotel can correct easily. It just needed some attention to details.

Thank you for your feedback Mr Noel. We have corrected the drain issue upon you bringing it to our attention at your check out day. We also spoke with housekeeping about vacuuming better as they protentional miss spots as everyone does. As for the staff, we see that you encountered 2 staff members One being the manager who tried to assit you which you were not giving your friendly feel from. and on of our BEST and friendly agents.

As Expedia only sends the room type you did book which is the type you received upon check in, our staff at no time changed the room as we looked into that, and as you chose not to stay after now. If you did not stay, we ask that you do not leave negative feedback without providing proof of your booking details.

Best hotel in CNY
The Hampton Inn in Clay, NY is consistently amazing. The staff here is fantastic. They are able to always exceed what I expect in a hotel. I will always stay here when traveling in CNY.

A great location
The stay was great. However, one of the towels in the bathroom was not clean, and there were crumbs on the carpet in the room. We advised the front desk, and they said they would do a full clean of the room, we did get new towels, but the crumbs were still there. We would definitely stay here again, good complimentary breakfast and location is convenient to everything.
