A bit loud at night due to the 10 year old group that stayed for a hockey tournament. The hotel itself was great for anyone with kids

Nothing was unique about this property. i made a reservation for Dec 2 for this place for a hockey tournament. There was a glitch in the expedia software where i date did not get changed so after I paid for it my husband told me to check the date and sure enough it was the wrong ate, sooo we spent New Years Eve in Sylvan Lake, AB . Since it was paid for the owners would not approve changes to the date after alot of emails expedia gave up on them. So make sure your dates are correct because owner will not allow changes. Some on the front desk staff were very unfriendly. Greedy owners

Parking lot is a little bit small and didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t enjoy the pool and hot tub as much as I would have liked due to the fact that all the children were extremely load and nobody was asked to bring the volume levels down

Good hotel but a little pricey
Good hotel, little pricey for what you get. Sylvan seems to be a higher priced small town in all things, food. restaurants. I would stay here again. I stayed in Calgary cheaper with a better chain of hotel. It is a local hotel so they have a bit of work to do. The rooms are a little shabby and probably need a facelift.

The manager completely ignores guests problems, does not respond to the problem and will not talk to the guest and will not return phone calls. The staff has no authority to deal with problems. I would never stay at this hotel again and I would not recommend it to anyone. As for Expedia, their agent in this reservation, that Expedia booked on the wrong date and could not or was not allowed to correct by the manager of the hotel, I was forced to pay twice for the stay i requested. My advise, do not deal with either.

This hotel was quite reasonable, comfortable and weekend breakfast was OK. We were there for wedding and check-in was for 4 pm. We needed an earlier check-in. They wanted $45 for 2 hours early check-in which is exorbitant if the room is available. Hot-tub was also filthy and unusable.

The hotel was easy to find and minutes from downtown Sylvan Lake. But away from the busyness of the downtown hotels. Affordable with good breakfast options.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to help me. When my television had a small issue, they made numerous trips to and from my room until the problem was rectified. My only complaint was no bacon at breakfast, though the sausages and eggs were fresh and hot. I'll be staying again.
