The PERFECT location for walking around the Circular Quay area by the Opera House! The hotel had vintage charm with beautiful views from our room on the 10th floor. Only criticism is that our room carpet needed to be replaced due to aging. However, our bathroom was gorgeous! Would def stay here again.

This is a very clean hotel. While showing signs of age it provides large rooms and beautiful bathrooms with separate areas for toilet, shower, and tub. Lots of counter space for supplies. The location is perfect with everything close by within a very easy walk.

I have stayed in this hotel over ten years ago which is why we came back. It looks like the hotel is being run down and has received no maintenance since I was last there. They took $800 of our credit cards for incidentals. The damage is already done needs a lot of money to be anywhere near as good as surrounding hotels

It was terribly run down and smelt of mould and mildew. Fixtures, fitting and furniture were tatty and in poor condition. It's a pity, it is in a great position, and has old world charm, but really needs a good clean up.

Was a lovely place to stay. The only thing stopping 5 stars was the bed. It was comfortable but if your partner moved you felt every move. Other than that I would stay again.

The location is good near the circular quay and all the ferries and restaurants. The hotel needs to be refurbished Old cachet but rooms need updating The staff was courtious and helpful Air conditioning failed but was fixed Pool was nice but a railing is needed to get out especially since it is used by older adults.

We arrived early for our room. We were offered upgrade to suite for $50AUD/day for available room. It was a fabulous room. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Fantastic location. We were there for Australia Day weekend and it was great to stay close to the action. There are easy transportation options within 5 minutes walking distance. The room was large and very comfortable. The hotel has a classic feeling to it. We very much enjoyed staying there. The only issue that I can see with the hotel is that some of the carpets were old and should be replaced/removed to give it a cleaner and fresher feel. Highly recommended otherwise. Grab it if you can find a good price. You will not be disappointed.

Nice little hotel within walking distance of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay. The staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms were once grand, but are in need of refurbishing. Convenient to Circular Quay station allowing you to take the Airport Link from Sydney airport. We walked with all of our luggage from the station to the hotel. The last 200 feet are uphill, we made it. We arrived early because of an early morning arrival on our international flight. Our king room was not available. The desk staff offered and we acacepted a suite at a reduced rate. The suite included a large living room with fire place, bathroom with separate shower and tub, and a large bedroom with king bed.

Beautiful Small Hotel
We had an amazing one night stay at the hotel. We were upgraded to a beautiful executive suite. The room was well appointed and just lovely. The location of the hotel is also wonderful across from the park and botanical gardens.

The Hotel is convenient to all public transport and the cruise ship dock - My only concern was the breakfast at $32 per person was very average and they want another $5 per person for a Late after paying $64 for the breakfast the Late should be included
