Located 30 kilometres (18.64 miles) east of Bangkok, the Suvarnabhumi Airport opened in September, 2006. The largest airport in Thailand, Suvarnabhumi is connected to a hotel and a light-rail system providing transportation to Bangkok’s city centre and central business district.
