“Great Place”

The Ambers is minutes away from Gatwick Airport. There is a free phone at the airport to use to call to be picked up and taken to the Ambers. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel welcome from the minute you meet him. They serve a good breakfast and have good coffee. I will definately stay there the next time I go to England.

“Always enjoy our stay”

We had an excellent stay at Ambers. We were picked up at and taken to Gatwick. The owner was very genial and accommodating, and even booked a table at a wonderful local Indian restaurant for us (Jai Ho). The bedrooms were very comfortable, newly decorated and clean. Around the corner is a very good British pub (Six Bells). We are always very happy to have to spend overnight in Gatwick because Ambers is so close by.

“Highly recommended”

We stayed here for 3 nights in July and could not praise the accommodation, staff or location enough. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily (better than most hotels we have stayed in). Excellent breakfast. Fantastic location. Overnight stays or a little longer, don't miss this one.

“A great English welcome”

While by the standards one id used tot the rooms are small and stairways narrow it is more than made up for by the welcome and friendliness of the owners. It was handy to the airport but yet quiet, there were cafes and bars nearby and the brteakfast in the morning was something one dreams of when at home. A great place to stay with very genuine hosts and great service
