Lovely building full of character and nice grounds but nothing special. The room was a good size and well equipped with large TV, dressing table, two chairs, another table good size wardrobe and cupboard. The bed is well worn so that occupants roll towards the middle of the bed and one the chairs are different heights and the one for sitting at the desk is in need of attention because the seat pad is so worn it sinks into the frame of the chair. We only got enough to make two hot drinks in the room for a 3 night stay, for milk sachets, two of each type of tea/coffee, two single biscuits. We had to beg for replenishments which were eventually bought to the room after chasing them up. (no biscuits though). The real let down though was the breakfast. I went down to breakfast as soon as it opened, 7:00am. The food looked like it had been in the bain-marie for hours! It was inedible. The bacon had plasticised and was impossible to cut with a knife, no replacement was available we were told they were waiting for a delivery. The next day wasn't much better. I have to say there was a huge improvement on day 3, it was clear the chef was different. Although, personally I didn't care much for the very dense sausages. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, if they can't do an English breakfast there's not much hope for dinner! The staff in the dining room are lovely and couldn't apologise enough, always greeting you with a lovely warm smile. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Second time here. Same room. Staff are exceptional. Has breakfast, swimming pool and gym which makes it good value for money. Water jug and glasses in room made of heavy glass. Water fountain in the corridor only had still water thought it advertised sparkling water also. Conveniently located for me. Very good price. I would stay there again.

This was the second time we have stayed at Frimley Hall in 5 years. The Frimley seems to have focused its business on catering for weddings and has lost sight of regular customers. When I called the front desk or room service lines, they would ring endlessly without answering. The details were missed for breakfast several times such as not providing service for two as indicated, missing food or condiments, etc. We will seek out other accommodations on our next visit

Hotel is good, reasonable price, nice quiet location. Staff service excellent. Spa service could be better considering the price I paid for the treatment, in the sense that when they are doing the treatment better understanding of the client needs. Thumbs up to hotel for water fountains, and a clean no stains kettle.
