“Helpful Staff”

The hotel has a free shuttle to/from Gatwick Airport. On the return to the airport I left a small bag in the shuttle van. The hotel was most helpful making sure the bag was return to me ASAP. Breakfast: Complimentary and very good. Continental or full English style provided.

“Good for overnight stay”

Efficient and prompt transfers to the airport. Room was basic but had everything you need for an overnight stay.

“Efficient Hotel”

Generally satisfactory, although general appearance of corridors etc. is very basic. Room was spacious and clean, but much too hot - radiator was full on and could not be turned off. Continental breakfast provided for early departures from 3.00a.m Car parking arrangements worked OK and collection from Gatwick on return was efficient.

“Not bad”

We were only there a night, but everything was good. We arrived late & had no problem checking in after hours. It helped that we called the night before to arrange everything.

“Good for a short stay”

It is an average (by North American Standard) motel. The attractive things are the proximity to Gatwick and the inexpensive rates.

“Hotel or B&B?”

I would class this as a Bed & Breakfast rather than a hotel and although the staff were pleasant, the place itself was in need of a good bit of maintenance and modernisation.

“Just NO.”

Absolutely awful! From waiting for 40 minutes for the free shuttle, to being told the wrong bus stop, nearly killed in the taxi by a driver who was talking on his mobile phone and not watching the road ON THE MOTORWAY, lied to by the receptionist... urg, what an awful experience. The room was dank and depressing and I didn't want to go barefoot in the shower for fear of what I might catch. The only saving grace was the breakfast which was free and okay.
