We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment with pool views. The apartment was spacious and generally well-equipped (although it could do with some extra cutlery). The huge lagoon-style pool (unheated) and heated pool were a big highlight of our stay. There were plenty of shallow areas and ledges for our young kids to play on. Some of the ground floor rooms even opened directly onto the pool area. Being pool-facing, and especially being near the spa, we did have moderate pool noise throughout the day, but resort staff seemed good at enforcing the 9pm closure.
Beach access was very convenient, and along paved pathways all the way from the resort to the beach track. The red & yellow flags were perhaps a 5 minute walk along the beach in either direction (Mudjimba to the south and Marcoola to the north).
It was perhaps a 5-10min walk to nearby shops, with cafes, bakery, etc, as well as a small playground, but this was an enjoyable walk along a nicely shaded flat pathway behind the sand dunes.
We weren't overly bothered by flight noise from the nearby airport, and the kids even enjoyed seeing the planes taking off and landing.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.
