“Was a great first experience in Noosa. Will definitely go back!”
Overall my Noosa blue resort stay was great! I loved their facilities, including a large heated pool, small grotto/water slide and Gym facilities. It is the perfect position to be in, in Noosa. On noosa Hill, and just a good enough distance to be away from the extreme hustle and bustle of Hastings Street. There is secure basement parking. The central air conditioning was great, although smelt a little musty. It needs a good clean. Other than that one issue, everything else was great. The staff are friendly and the service was great.
“Excellent service”
When it became apparent to the staff that there may be a problem with noise from adjoining apartment, they us with the option to move without being asked.
“Lovely place”
Really nice hotel with a lovely pool. However, instead of a double bed, they stuck two singles together which wasn't the most comfortable. Perhaps i'm precious though! It was also at the top of quite a big hill which knackered me every night but the town was so nice I wasn't too worried!
“Gorgeous and relaxing”
We recently stayed at Noosa Blue, for an off season break. The resort was lovely, quiet, very relaxing. The staff were friendly, accomodating and knowledgable. The Pool area was awesome!! Away from the beach and all the better for it, very easy walk to town. Will definitely come back
“Room really confortable and complete”
The hotel's room are really well designed, confortable and complete of all features and amenities.
“Average hotel for a resort”
Good location and friendly staff. No view from the room we had. Limited dining facilities. Suggest that visitors bring transportation with them.
“Not impressed”
Hotel is located relatively nearby the tourist center. Not satisfied though with service (we raised some issues that weren't addressed) and during our 4 day stay it wasn't cleaned once.
“Poor value for money”
Having splashed out for a special birthday trip, we found Noosa Blue poor value for money, even recognising that Noosa is an expensive resort. Out penthouse suite had a view of a noisy roundabout and bottle shop. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable, but not special. We had to keep asking for things - towels, dishwasher powder, loo paper etc. The extractor fan in the windowless loo didn't work. The spa was so overchlorinated it made our skin itch. It was a mistake to be up the hill from the beach - parking close to the beach is difficult and limited to one hour mostly, and flogging back up the hill salty and sandy, carrying everything was not fun. Don't be fooled by the website photos (as I was) - I wouldn't go back.
“Almost no sleep for the whole 2 nights we stayed there.”
At first, everything seemed ok enough. However, we soon found there was no curtain over the main sliding door/window which allowed guests walking past our room to gaze directly upon my wife and I as we watched T.V and forced us to completely cover up before exiting the bathroom. Also, due to having no curtain, we found it extemely hard to get any sleep as there is no door, curtain or any other type of barrier seperating the bedroom hence with the floodlights outside, it was like sleeping with the light on. On our first night, we quickly found there was only a square or 2 of toilet paper and a couple of tissues (luckily my wife had some tissues in her bag). Following our first night at the "hotel", we placed the "please make up our room" sign on the outside of the door and left to enjoy Noosa. Upon returning, we found the room had not been touched and we still had no toilet paper etc. We then called and told them we had placed the sign on the door to which she rudely replied "It's not automatic". Offended by her tone, I then informed her we also had no paper etc and she said she would call the cleaner. The cleaner then appeared at the door, handed my wife paper and linen and left. I then called reception again to which she rudely informed me that they only clean the rooms every 3 days and then only if you are staying at least 5 days. We chose this hotel based on it's location and "4.5 stars" and although we reside in China, I have never had such a bad experience in any hotel.
