“Good, clean motel, but not in the best place in the world.”

I honestly have mixed feelings about my stay. Pros: The hotel was able to honor my request for a first floor room. The hotel is in relatively good shape. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was great. The area is quiet and peaceful. Cons: There are few services near the hotel, and the area is a bit isolated. You are not on a major highway, so this is expected. This is a good place, if you are travelling on Interstate 95 in South Carolina, are tired, need a place to stop and are NOT concerned about services (gas stations, restaurants, etc.) directly off the highway.

“An OK place to stay”

This place is conveniently located and more than adequate for those wishing for a clean bed, and a good nites sleep. It is not the Taj Mahal, but it is OK.

“Great en-route spot”

The hotel is conveniently located near Interstate 95. The pool is small, but clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of two light bulbs in the bathroom was out, which made things a little dark. The staff offered to move us into another room, but it wasn't worth the hassle. I guess they don't check the rooms very often in the off-season. Also, the bathroom walls could use either a fresh coat of paint or a deep scrub. The inexpensive off-season rate made the stay worth-while.
