“Great time.”
Very nice room and great location. Great price
“Perfect ski-in/out”
Excellent location. Peak 9 lift right outside back entrance to condo. Five minute walk to Main St with restaurants, shops, etc. Check-in desk was very helpful. Would have preferred later check-out time than 10am to ski day of departure.
“Great Access, Great Value”
The condo is a bit dated in decor and furnishings, but the convenience to the slopes (true ski in/ski out) and town more than make up for that. Indoor parking would be nice but for the price--you cannot beat it.
“GREAT SKI IN OUT”
We stayed in Trails End 108. Right at the base of peak 9, steps to the lift. Condo is nice has everything but a hair dryer. Pull out couch is somewhat hard, the bed in the bedroom is very comfy. Kitchen is complete and a gas grill on balcony, Hot tub down the hall. We were there Xmas 09, and I would definitely stay there again.
“Comfortable condo in great Breckenridge location”
Just spent a long weekend in a one-bedroom condo at Trails End. It's only a couple of blocks off Main Street, with lots of restaurants and shopping. We had our own garage door opener so we could park in the underground parking, which was a nice convenience. The condo had a kitchen (we could have cooked meals instead of going out), living room with TV and a DVD player, and a bedroom with a queen size bed. We had our own private balcony too. We would definitely go back!
“unit 315 is a pit - unit 214 is very comforable”
We were assigned unit 315 which the owner has minimally furnished and is not well done or comfortable - it is a pit. The management company was accommodating and moved us to unit 214 which was very comfortable and well done. The ski-in / ski-out location is great and this condo is within walking distance of plenty of dining options. We would stay at this location again but would do additional advanced research and call the management company ahead of departure to ensure that we were assigned a well appointed unit.
“Great ski in/ski out”
Hotel was right next to a ski lift and we were able to ski right to the hotel. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, yet was quiet at night.
“Great location- would stay here again!”
Condo building was clean, quiet, and comfortable and good place for families. Great location convenient to slopes, lift, shuttle, and walking distance to village. We seldom used the car. Parking was convenient. The unit lists as accomodating 4, but only children would be able to sleep on the very uncomfortable sofa bed. But, the sofa bed and the fireplace that did not work were the only negative things.
“Convenient but with issues”
Location is great but we were not notified that check in was blocks away on Main St and spent quite some time figuring this out. A balcony without chairs is of little use. Our request for a non-smoking unit was not honored and I had a great deal of difficulty breathing comfortably. The condo itself was clean and well equipped but check in and check out were a hassle and I would look for another option on our next trip.
“Third time's a charm...”
We rented here because the proximity to the resort/town/lift/ski school was extremely convenient. Unfortunately, the first 1 bdrm we were booked in was very outdated, dingy, cramped, ran out of hot water, & above the garage entrance (so, it was quite loud in the condo every time the garage door opened/closed). The furniture, appliances, carpeting, etc. were worn and old: it was a condo meant for college buddies, not families or people looking for comfortable surroundings. The condo company agreed to let us choose between two other condos the next day and left keys for us in our room (a nice touch considering we didn't get back from skiing until late). Both new condos were upgrades from the 1st but were still somewhat outdated and had a number of minor issues: the nicer one had a leaky shower, a fireplace that was not working and older appliances. Had we been booked here at first, we would have been okay (once the minor issues had been fixed). But, because we were still not satisfied with our overall experience, we asked the company if they had any other condos that were in good condition and issue-free. They initially balked saying they had little control over how owners kept up their condos to which we expressed our disappointment/skepticism. They relented and moved us to a 2 bdrm, updated, beautiful condo. It was great and we enjoyed the rest of our non-ski time! I appreciate the company's save although that 1st condo needs major updating before it should be rented again.
