We were right at the foot of the mountain with access to gondolas, roller coaster, go karts, mountain bikes and a million little shops and restaurants - If that’s not enough, 5 miles from Frisco for even more fun....It was very family friendly and awesome!

Decent
The room was much older than I expected-clean room overall just had not been updated in a while. Worked fine for the short time we were there. We were looking forward hot tub in the building until we found out towels weren't provided.

Village Square in Center Village
Village Square was likely built in the 70's and appeared to be all original. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. There was no made service. The rooms were dusty, not thoroughly cleaned and beat up. There are newer and nice properties at Center Village that I would try if we go back. The picture provided by Hotels.com was not Village Square and was misleading.

Average stay for the price.
Room was clean but outside noise was annoying. Water pressure in the shower was really low and the shower handle was broken. The building seems old and shares space with the medical facility. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE the building manager was very helpful and friendly.

70s Lodge
You can tell this hotel/lodge was built in the late 70s early 80s. Kind of dark-ish room, nothing fancy, all you need if you're hitting the slopes in the day then only using the room for sleeping. No desk-staff here, it's all handled through Copper's resort lodging facility which is down the street. Lockers were handy, room was comfortable, nice view of the mountain.

Winter Stay
Stayed during ski season. Nice and convenient but loud in the morning due to the slope grooming machines. Probably a lot quieter in summer.

Old hotel close to ski lifts.
Very cramped and old room. Creaky bed springs. Broken television controller. Overpriced for quality of room.

Regrettably overpriced even with discount
First room we were given had a very strong chemical smell as if lots of cleaner or deodorant solution was spilled & was unbearable. The second room was farther away and not the same quality as the first. No compensation was offered and staff although kind was not well informed. Also staff did not look at available rooms to proactively address our need for a different room. When we arrived back at the front desk, we waited again for the agent to get this resolved. Finally, we weren't able to get late check-out when we asked the evening before nor the morning of our departure. Overall, the room, location & service did not match the price point of the product cost. I would not stay here again despite being closer to the slopes.

Clean but very tired property
We specifically asked the agent if it had an outdoor pool and was told yes. It also has a picture of an outdoor pool in the picture. We also choose one with washer and dryer and it did not have one. There was no answer on the phone listed on the reservation and it took us quite some time to figure out how to check in. Overall not a great experience.

Copper Mountain Resort
We booked a "hotel" room at the base of the ski mountain for convenience. We got to the first room - horrible...asked for a second one, equally horrible. Built in the 70's and seemingly NONE of the furniture, bedding or carpeting has every been replaced. Things were broken and non-functioning and we have the pictures to prove it. Worst thing was it took them 3 hours to relocate us and then we had to agree to pay twice the rate we were quoted to upgrade. Gone from BAD to WORSE - DO NOT STAY HERE!

Convenient Location
Room was a hotel lockout from a condominium. The beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. Fortunately we were only there for 1night. I suspect that since this was a condominium building &the units are each individually owned we might have just been unlucky to have gotten an older room. I imagine some must be updated. Just the luck of the draw I guess. I would have chosen a regular hotel, however everything at Copper Mountain is a condo, no hotels!!

Nice but not what we expected
The hotel was nice and the location was fabulous. But, our big disappointment was our reservation said we had a kitchen and we didn't even have a small refrigerator. Put a damper on our eating in plans. But they compensated with a coupon for a future reservation, so that was nice.

Nice Stay
Was at Copper for the warrior dash. Hotel seemed clean though some signs of aging are in the rooms. Was great to have a place to really clean up after the event. The beds where not comfortable and the pillows left me desiring a westin or hampton. Overall when the rpice is right this is a good place to stay and enjoy some mountain fun.

Better off staying in Dillion or Breck
As many have posted, this is outdated, needs maintenance and is really overpriced. You can hear all the noise from adjoining rooms and hallway. The sheets and blankets were very low quality and obviously old and worn. Furniture was scratched up, old carpet and rooms were a complete disappointment!

Murphy bed room tooooo small for four (1 adult and 3 kids)
I was looking for a reasonably priced place on the mountain for myself and 3 boys. Living here in Colorado, I try my best to ski on as little $ as possible and still be comfortable and have a good time. I got a murphy bed room for a good price and decided to go for it. I thought it would have a kitchen but it did NOT have a kitchen so we wore out the microwave and had an ice brigade for the cooler every pm. The room was very small for us, I am surprised we did not kill each other before the trip was over but we made it and had fun while skiing which is why we were there. The room would be perfect for two people. Like others have said the hot tub was a good one! There is a grill out by the hot tub for people to use and if had known that I would have brought hot dogs and burgers to cut down on the food costs. Use the coupons in the back of the attraction guide to save money. There is a good mexican food restaraunt up there behind the liquor store in center village (and I grew up in Dallas so I know good Mexican food). Don't take kids to the Irish Pub and they were not real welcoming to me bringing the boys in there even though there was only one other person in there. Almost had to have the music changed because of the profanity in the songs they were playing. Overall, good trip and great snow, I would just need to buck up for a bigger room.

Beds are like rocks
Location can't be beat. Our room, however, was pretty lacking. It's small to begin with, there was a lot of noise at late hours from people hanging around outside. The water out of the tap was scalding hot immediately too - a minor thing but it burned my hand a bit when I checked the temp. The worst part was the beds. The "main" bed is pulled down from the wall. Whatever. But the second bed is a couch pullout, and it was like there was no cushion at all - just springs and a sheet thrown over it. We took turns sleeping on that one and it was awful. I know couch beds aren't supposed to be the best, but I've slept on floors that are more comfortable. At least then you won't have metal springs poking you in the back all night. If you want convenience, this is the place. Friendly staff too. Just needs to update the sleeping situation.

Great location.... small "standard" room.
You can not beat the convenience of walking to your room after a long day on the slopes! Facility was updated and clean. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Only complaint.... We booked a room for 4 people, and they gave us a Standard room with "Murphy Bed" and "Pull out sofa." With all our luggage and gear the room was extremely small. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, you still can’t beat the convenience of staying on the mountain.

Excellent location, Frumpy Outdated... 'Resort'
One word best describes the room at Center Village...'outdated.' Someone give this place the face lift it deserves. I'm a Colorado native, and this is by far the worse mountain 'resort' I've been to. However, it's fair to admit the location is phenomenal. Unfortunately, the location isn't enough for me to return to this particular hotel. Expensively frumpy doesn't cut it, especially when you crave a much needed mountain getaway.

Great location - only about a block away from American Eagle lift in the center of Copper Mt. Our unit was a bit out dated but it was comfortable for our family. Purchased "breakfast food" and made hardy breakfast in unit before hitting the slopes. Not much nightlife in Copper Mt but we didn't pick Copper Mt for the nightlife. Skiing was great!

So convenient!!
It was so convenient to stay here as it was right at the bottom of the lifts at center village. Free parking was great. It was not fancy and no one came to clean the room but we were only there for 2 nights and extra towels and soap, etc were there in the room. Check in was easy and didn't even have to check out! Bathroom was very small but very adequate. We thought the price was very reasonable as it was right on Copper Mountain property. We would definitely go there again. On the internet when we got our reservation, it said that internet access was extra and found out when we got there it was included. It would have been nice to have known that as we would have brought our lap top computer. Overall it was a very good experience. We went to restaurants right there at Copper Mountain which were very good.

Thanksgiving at Cooper
First the hotel is in a great location on a great ski resort, Cooper mountain. My only complaint was the check in was "glacial" in speed. They could not find reservation, then they found it. Then the room wasn't ready (we were a bit early) for us. I though making guest wait you should get something ready, quick. Took 2 1/2 hours. Also we went 3 days with no room cleaning or towel changes. After I called they did it but it fell on death ears. All and all it's a good place, just need to train their staff on "true customer service". Remember they don't rent these rooms cheap over Thanksgiving. Will return and give them one more shot.

Hotel rooms shabby with sticking doors and rather uncomfortable beds; 2 spa outdoors - but not buit in (just sitting on concrete)- only 1 working. Center Village does have a few great restaurants and bars within stumbling distance-- even one in the same building as hotel room (Endo's). Great location for ski-in ski-out

Great Location, Nice Room, Low-Flow Showers
Check in was a breeze and the 2 bedroom condo was fantastic. This condo had a flat screen television which was different than the last condo I had in this building at Copper. The only negative is the showers. In both this unit and the past unit the shower pressure was terrible. The low-flow devices they have installed throughout the building leave much to be desired. Despite this, I would recommend staying here.

Not the Best
I was anything but happy with my stay. The room was not big enough for the furniture. Everything was jammed into the room. There was not a single walkway. To top it off, the room crammed with furniture was not even what we reserved. I reserved two queen beds and these beds were full, not queen. The hotel room ruined our vacation.

The condo was great! It had everything we needed, king beds in each of the 2 bedrooms and a fold-out couch in the living with a great balcony. We had about a 2 minute walk to the lifts and were right in the middle of all the shops of center village. I highly recommend it and will definetly go back!

Change for Worse
I had previously visited Copper Mountain under the ownership of Intrawest and this was my first trip under the new owners of the resort. The room reserved was a studio and was available as requested. As a condo, the room was supposed to be full cleaning every couple days and this did not occur (over 6 days, the room was only cleaned once). Under the previous owners, the unit would be partially cleaned each day and fulled cleaned every three days. In addition, the room was in average repair - the bed was very uncomfortable however and considering this is supposed to be a "gold" level property, this was a big disappointment. Based on the other available lodging within 30 minutes of Copper, I would suggest staying somewhere else.
