“a great choice for our first visit to breckenridge”
Very comfortable. Attractive inside and outside. For a B&B in a ski town, the rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was a fairly modest spread so do not have high expectations for any outlandish presentation. Employees were all social and friendly. Other guests seemed to all be couples which was a big plus in our books! Negatives? Hmm, maybe the carpet in front of the bathroom/sink area has a subtle odor. The heater in the room and I guess from other rooms has an annoying "clank" sound to it at times which is very random and will annoy any light sleepers such as myself. (Bring earplugs?) We used the free town shuttle which was okay. Service was frequent enough and convenient enough for a relaxed vacation. Easy to walk down into the city but the sidewalks were iced up a bit and we ended up catching the bus mostly (A well stocked convenience store is fairly close by.) Price was relatively good for the town I believe. I would probably try to experience another hotel or part of the town if I ever visit again but if I regularly visited the town then I could see myself making this my preferred hotel of choice.
“Great place for a ski weekend!”
The Allaire is a beautiful log cabin-style building with a great view of Breck. You can see both the town and the mountains from the hot tub on the deck. In decent weather, it's a pretty easy walk to town (10 minutes) and less to the Breckenridge Brewery. There's no daily maid service, but the breakfast is amazing! Fruit/bagels/cereal/oatmeal/yogurt always available plus a delicious warm entree every day. Rooms are very comfy and cute. Bathrobes available to help you get to and from the hot tub in winter! Common areas are spacious and attractive. Would definitely stay again!
“Perfect Ski Cabin Getaway!”
The Alliare Timbers was a great find. The living room is cozy, the hot tub has an amazing view, and the breakfast is great. Our room had everything we needed and it's easy to take the shuttle to town. It was a great romantic getaway for skiing and relaxing!
