Arrived at check in after driving over 8 hours to a note on desk stating back shortly. Once we found our room and settled in, we realized we were placed directly in front of the ice machine which was used loudly and frequently until after 2am. (No sleep) After we got up up and I took our dog for a walk, I came into the room and my child pointed out a bug running on the bed by our pillows. Under closer inspection I became concerned it was the infamous BED BUG. I took a picture of it and did a Google image search and lo and behold... It was definitely a bed bug!! I did smash it flat on a Kleenex and brought it to front desks attention. She immediately took one look at it and said "oh no"!! We brought our own pillows from home and a couple of the kids blankets to make the trip more comfortable and now I needed garbage bags to seal up all our belongings. This was the first night of our four night trip to other destinations. She told me that I would be compensated for the inconvenience and we loaded up everything and hit the road. There was no compensation and we threw away hundreds of dollars worth of belongings that needed to be repurchased. This trip put me out hundreds of dollars. After leaving messages for a week and a half with front desk staff, I do not get a call back from the owners or any of the managers. No credits have been issued. This leads me to believe that they do not care and that little is being done to remedy the situation. Buyer beware!!

Check in was good, staff were friendly. The bedding did not appear clean as there were stains on it nor did the mattress. The pull out couch was so uncomfortable I didn’t think I’d ever fall asleep. Really disappointed.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice; high pressure. The staff was excellent. The hot tub was closed down and has been for two years apparently. This is where the 2 stars comes in. Spoke on the phone with two customer service representatives before booking who confirmed the pool and hot tub were operational. After a long drive I was looking forward to soaking my bones in the hot tub.
