“Excellent location”

Staff very friendly and welcoming and happy to assist with any requests.Room was very good size with extremely comfortable bed. Very handily placed for transport links. Did not use restaurant facility.

I stayed for a two night break at the end of July, having booked a 4th floor Executive Twin Room which was comfortable, quite spacious, well equipped and quiet, despite the proximity of a busy road. It was definitely worth paying the Executive supplement as it allowed access to the Executive Lounge with internet access, a regularly checked kitchen with a range of free beverages (including wine and beer), a bathroom and, each evening, an excellent soup with a selection of breads! The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. I mentioned briefly on arrival that I might need a taxi early on the morning of my departure. The next day I received a letter confirming that one had already been booked for me, just in case! It was a pity that the Spa and pool were closed for refurbishment - something I had been unaware of when booking, however this did not spoil the trip as there's plenty to see and do in Stuttgart. I would definitely stay there again.

“Very hospitable and gave extra perks”

I booked Le Meridien last minute on Expedia. When I arrived they had an upgraded room with mini-bar included (and a generous mini bar!). Great products in the bathroom vanity and comfy towels and robes. A full up hot breakfast until 1030. Free English newspapers (Financial Times and International Herald Tribune). The hotel staff all speak English and are friendly and helpful. They have secure parking and helpful bell staff. The pool/spa is beautiful and comfortable. Not all rooms have the best view (it is a city hotel) but they are modern, very bright and have a true double bed (as opposed to two small beds pushed together as is common in Europe). I checked out a couple of hours late with no problems. Only glitch was they put a few authorizations on my credit card, even though I paid directly through Expedia. It might have been an initial authorization because I booked same day, and the payment went through the same day, When I called the hotel, they were very helpful, and they explained and there was not problem, so just save your bill at the end of the stay.

“First Class in Every Way!”

Le Meridien Stuttgart exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was impeccable -- friendly and knowledgable staff, all with an excellent command of English; the design was fresh and contemporary, with comfy beds and a lavish bath; and the location was ideal -- a short 5 minute walk to the train station through a nice park which also boasts a traditional German Biergarten. For those traveling with children, this hotel was very accommodating, even though it's geared to business travelers.

“Good Hotel but Expensive for Basics”

Hotel was lovely and in a great location. Breakfast was expensive so went out for it. No tea making facilities, wished we taken the travel kettle! The restaurant was full, so we ate in the bar which was again quite pricey, although good quality. The car park wasn't free to residents and this was an extra expensive we hadn't planned for. The hotel did have very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms were spacey and very clean. The spa was good although the pool was a tad cold. Be prepared to sauna and steam naked and see nude bodies walking around in this area, something us Brits aren't used to. We would recommend the hotel but would probably search for something that included free breakfast and car parking next time.

“Wish we could have stayed longer!”

This hotel is very conveniently located near major sights in the heart of Stuttgart. Everything was very clean and the room was exceptionally comfortable. The non-smoking floor was heaven for those non-smokers seeking refuge from ubiquitous cigarettes. Pool was wonderful too. Unusual for Germany, breakfast was not included in our price so we didn't partake.

“Great place and very easy walk to the schlossplatz”

We loved this hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of our room, as well as the nice fresh smelling robe in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room had a great flat screen tv too. It is a short walk from the S bahn if you are coming in from the airport and taking the train in. Also, very close the schlossplatz where there is an abundance of shopping, food, and beers to be served. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Great location in Stuttgart. American comforts with European Style. Very friendly staff. Very close to parks, shopping, train station. Will definitely stay there again.
