The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and patient, given that my husband and i were checking in at the same time as about 15 other groups who were checking in for an eight-ball tournament. They handled everyone's reservations, questions and concerns very efficiently and calmly. Definitely recommend this hotel.

It seems like this property is being renovated. Parts very nice, others not the best. The bank of elevators near the front was not working. Apparently they were having issues with it before. It had not been fixed and there were no signs anywhere that it wasn’t working. Staff said, they knew about it. Sorry!?

I had an extremely disappointing experience during my recent stay at your hotel. Early mng,the front desk staff called my room in a rude manner, demanding my name, spelling it out, and then accusing me of not paying for the room, despite having already settled the payment and provided my card for incidentals. The staff member was dismissive and unwilling to listen to any explanation, making me feel unwelcome and disrespected. This encounter tarnished my impression of the hotel and left me with a negative overall experience. This is just not fair first you insult a guest and then another staff offers a comp for stay and free breakfast. I don’t need that and I didn’t take it as well. Simply wanted that particular lady who was rude to be courteous enough to come upfront and say sorry instead of hiding behind.

The bathroom faucet was very hard to figure out because it just kept turning 360 n 360. U had to push on it and just figure out where to put it for the right temp. The WiFi sucked. We brought our firestick and it would play for 3sec. Then lag for a min play for like 5 sec then lag. We ended up just watching the free tv channels on the tv. I could tell the room had not been cleaned very well because there was little things all over the floor and then there was an old pringles can lid on the floor at the base of the bed. I examined the bed and the was clean. The toilet was not stable. When u sat on it, it rocked. We traveled with our dog n when taking him outside to do his business there were cigarettes butt all over around the trash can at the door like a hundred or more. Then the area where we were supposed to take him out at had garbage debris all over. And after getting home realized my husband left his keys there and when we called up there they said they had not been found but when we go back and think bout it he either left them on the front desk counter during check in or the bedroom somewhere. They said they looked but who knows. It was just the happy ending the a ok night there.

I feel the staff have very negative attitudes everything is that is what the boss man says to do! The gentleman who’s was the manager listeened to my complaint and did nothing The food and food service was awful the food area had nats flying around.the food and sitting on the food. Half of what they stated during check in was not even offered No yogurt limited amount bread for toast rggs were cold and runny the hash browns tasted freezer burnt Employee in the dining area would shut the lights off on. Hotel guests while they were still eating because he wanted to go home. When i mentioned it to the front desk the guy that was working stated to me what do you want it is a holiday week staffing is limited. The hotel pool was not heated the pool water was ice cold The hotel elevators one did not work the first time staying at this hotel; it still was not working this year either and the one elevator that was working was a crap shoot if you got to the right floor you would press a floor inside of the elevator and sometimes it would jump to another floor i felt unsafe having to ride the elevator. I know there are a few employees who are trying to improve things at this hotel but i am pretty sure if the health inspector or the city inspector were to visit this hotel this hotel would be shut down I stayed as a returning guest because i loved the hotel the area is close to relatives but i will not be returning next year i will got another hotel and pay the difference!

Was disappointed that on a busy travel week of Thanksgiving that the restaurant was closed for the holiday week. We specifically picked this hotel for the restaurant and bar. We did enjoy the pool with the kids and the room was clean. I would suggest you call ahead of time to see if the restaurant will be open if you’re looking for that. The hotel needs to be updated but we’ve definitely stayed in worse places.

First time at a Best Western and by far, the WORST hotel experience of my life! Terrible service and no working wifi. I called down to the front desk nearly 10 times without an answer. Corporate called multiple times and didn’t get an answer either. I would never stay at a Best Western property again.

I called two separate times prior to arrival to confirm there was a shuttle available to pick me up from the airport. When I got to the airport, I called them and was told their shuttle stopped at 5pm, even though the other representatives told me it was available until 8. I then arranged the shuttle with them for the next morning, and when I woke up they told me that they don’t even have a shuttle at all. There is a LOT of miscommunication on their end and it ended up costing me another $40 I wasn’t planning on spending. The employees were kind and apologized to me but in the end didn’t really seem to know what was going on with their own hotel. The facilities were kind of old and 2 out of the 3 elevators were out of service but overall facilities were clean. Gym has three treadmills and some free weights. In the end, employees are nice but place isn’t great.

The elevators were broken. My coffee maker was broken. Tried to contact room service/front desk got no answer and was transferred to the national best western reservation line. Talked to the front desk in the morning. Nothing was fixed at 5pm when I returned. Talked to staff in hall, they hated working there.

Pro's & Con's at the Strongsville Best Western.
Checked in, and Christian at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. But the person on the front desk at night was in casual street clothes, and preoccupied with a computer issue and was not very friendly. My room was a king suite. it was spacious and very nice. the Bathroom tub showed a lot of age, and the bathroom ceiling looked like it was painted by a 9 year old. Public spaces were nice & clean in the hotel. I noticed a lot of 'service' area doors open as I walked through the halls of the building. Some empty, with cleaning supplies and tools laying around, and others open with employees talking and laughing as I walked by. I am not used to seeing 'staff only' doors open all over. convenient parking in a well lit lot. decent breakfast. Overall a lot of pro's and con's, but the room was nice and clean, so I will return when I am in the area on business.

The person checking in took 10 minutes to check me in. He was slow or a computer problem. The main reason I booked this place was that Expedia said they had shuttle service to the airport.and the clerk said they no longer have it. Now it is costing me over $46.00 for Uber. Plus the pillow cases were dirty in my room.

The hotel had an expected maintenance situation where the water would be cut off but they didn’t tell anyone. When asking about the water outage we found they had bed bugs. The general manager lives on the 5th floor and was unwilling to help because “he wasn’t there”. All of the employees were tired and didn’t want to be there because they didn’t want to have to tell customers bad news.

This place is a dump. First a water main ruptured, then there is no hot water so no showers. The fire alarms went off every few minutes. No one answers at the front desk during these emergencies. The AC/heater doesn’t set at fixed temperatures. It got so warm that my throat was parched. Hardly got any sleep.

This place is falling apart. Hallways are dirty. One of the elevators is still out of service. Best Western needs to do way better. The Comfort Inn in Brunswick is much better and cleaner.

This property is completely different than pictured, the staff was rude & unhelpful. Had to get new key cards made for my room twice, all doors that let out to the Parking lot say “key card needed for entry” except all of the handles have been tampered with so you can just walk on in, all of the lots in the parking area were all out so it was pitch black outside. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The property had obviously been through a refresh, but they cut corners on many areas of the refresh. For being a three star hotel it was much dirtier than I was comfortable with. I believe they are under-staffed and that led to delays at check as well as a feeling like they were behind on routine cleaning.

I booked this property specifically because it said that the free airport shuttle was included. On arrival I found out it did not. It was a hassle and an expense to Uber back-and-forth from the airport, but the property itself felt very safe and it was clean and honestly for the price I gave it five stars because it was perfect! The bathroom was very clean and the beds were comfortable. If not for the lack of an airport shuttle, I would stay here every single time!
