Situated on 19 acres of landscaped grounds and housed in a building built in 1867, the Westover Inn - An Ontario's Finest Inn is an ideal romantic getaway spot. The hotel offers a 3-star restaurant with a lounge. The restaurant serves gourmet dishes cooked by a leading chef, including regional dishes and inn-made ice creams and sorbets. The lounge features a crackling, wood-burning fireplace. This Ontario property also has a seasonal outdoor pool and a scenic garden. For events, facilities consist of small meeting rooms with audio-visual equipment, and banquet areas. Onsite parking is complimentary.

Westover Inn - An Ontario's Finest Inn offers 22 guestrooms, each individually decorated. Many rooms feature original 1867 molding and 11-foot ceilings. Televisions come with cable channels and DVD player. Phones and soffee/tea makers are provided. Bathrooms include makeup/shaving mirrors and hair dryers. Rooms also include air conditioning. Amenities available on request include irons/ironing boards.
All guestrooms are non-smoking.

“Delightful small inn in a park-like setting!”
Wonderful get away from the city! Would recommend the inn as a greta place to stay if you are visiting the Stratford area! Excellent food - be sure to eat in the dining room - an experience not to be missed!
“Great Guest Care”
The service not our hotel room caught our attention. Would return and select an upgraded room. Nice, relaxed setting with spacious grounds. We stayed in a lower priced which was located in separate building a short walk from the main hotel. The room was too utilitarian for "Ontario's finest Inn," more of a college dorm. Rooms in the main hotel are more expensive but much nicer and they have another building with suites. Breakfast on an outdoor porch was lovely, very professional servers. Well prepared food. Accomodated all of our special requests.
“First Impressions last a long time.”
First Impressions last a long time. This one is very much worth remembering. Having never been to St. Mary's, this was a new adventure for us. Driving by gps, we were led to the stately entrance drive which we followed up to the Westover Inn front door. The building and grounds were very mature, well maintained and well appointed. We could see that this was no large corporate run facility. The manner in which we were treated was very personable, warm and polite with a little touch of "home."
“Nice and pleasant”
With all the hotels in Stratford booked, we went to this nice and pleasant inn in St. Mary's, perhaps 20 miles away (through beautiful farmland). The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful, the grounds were marvelous and the main manor house was comfortably appointed. We were in the terrace building, which was a little small but perfectly functional (the rooms in the main building are larger, nicer and perhaps disproportionately more expensive). We did not have the chance to eat in the dining room, which is purported to be exceptional. Don't miss the free cookies in the lobby!
“A Lovely Inn”
Beautiful spacious grounds surround the property. Rooms have views onto the grounds. The restaurant is professionally run with a varied menu and delicious offerings. I was in Ontario to attend several productions at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the Inn staff were quite helpful with any questions I had about the festival productions, directions to Stratford etc.
“Could have been better”
The hotel is lovely and well kept, although our TV wasn't working. The huge disappointment was the food. As well, the service could have been better. The food was expensive but quite unimaginative and not particularly well prepared or presented (melba toast with a topping for the "amuse bouche", frozen rolls, really tough entree). The staff was very young, inexperienced and awkward.
