This is a hidden little gem. Room was huge and had a great little patio. Views of the ocean and close to the coastal cafes and ocean walk. Easy convenient parking too!
A nice little hotel in a terrific little town. Room was excellent and staff helpful. Restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the beach. Recommend highly.

Location is superb and adjacent to a great restaurant/pub.
Small things like tissues missing/box not filled and only 2 tea bags seem like penny pinching and just take the edge of the quality of the stay.
Worth noting that the sound proofing between the rooms on the second floor isn’t good, which means you get to hear everything
Great place and walkable to the beach/restaurants. Continental breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. The wifi did not reach into our room, so we had to go to common area to use (which may cause issues if you are travelling and limiting data use.)
We had a beautiful Oceanside balcony room, stunning views, service and the convenience of a restaurant next door was excellent, food and service was excellent there as well. Climbed the mountain on day of departure and the views were phenomenal. Sligo was one of our faves!!
The location and the staff were both amazing. The views and the breakfast were great. There were some issues with cleanliness. The bathroom had long hair around the tub and sink and when we went to the balcony, there was a cup full of cig butts and water. Quickly cared for as the desk clerk handled the cup and my wife did a quick clean of the entire bathroom. We are not germ freaks but hair is hair and worse when it isn't yours. Otherwise amazing stay.
The Dunes Bar 3 minutes away had incredible burgers and well priced for the area.

Dear Sabina
I must apologise for the issue you experienced, this is not to our usual standard.
I hope it will not put you off returning again.
From the moment we checked in the staff was amazing. We arrived a little early, but the staff got us in asap. They did a great job answering all of our questions about the local area. My travel companion is diabetic and one night his glucose was low and the grabbed something from the breakfast room for us with no hesitation. The property is well maintained and located near several restaurants and a convenience store. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Thankyou for you kind review, i hope we will see you back again in Strandhill soon.
Superb staff. Lovely hotel in great location. Only negatives were the tv and bath. The tiny tv had few channels with poor quality and a remote that would not correct the aspect ratio. The bath was too shallow to be fully immersed in.
Stayed in strand lodge and suites have to say it was excellent friendly staff and very helpful staff as we were looking for some where to eat at last minute. I didn’t get the ladies name but she was so helpful and rang around and got us a place to eat.
The room was big and had a huge bath room and excellent view of the sea with double room and balcony to watch the world pass you by. Comfortable bed. We had no towels which was not a problem I called down and
We had a great three night stay at Strandhill Lodge.
I am coeliac and required gluten free food. it was available in abundance and my wife also was very pleased with her breakfast. The room was very good with a balcony and sea view. David was very helpful and looked after our every need.
I love this hotel, will definitely come back again for a longer period.

This was my third visit to this property . Sadly this time i noticed the rooms a little shabby . The ice machine was out of order and toilet roll holder had broken off in room . 2 glasses that did not match and chair ripped . Pity as we really enjoyed our stay in strandhill otherwise.
Location location location, and then the room, very pleased that we chose this accommodation, the staff were really pleasant and helpful, no issues, would return again.
We got a warm welcome from Aishling who showed us to our room - a rare occupancy nowadays. The room was spacious and there was a beautiful view from the balcony. Breakfast was continental but there was a great choice of things to eat.
