“Great Stay!”

We had a wonderful time in Mackinaw in our great state of Michigan. The Mackinaw Beach & Bay was everthing we hoped for our 3 night family stay. Our suite had two rooms, one with a queen bed and pull out couch the other room had a king bed with a great view of Lake Huron. Not to mention the nice flat screen TVs in each room and wet bar. All the rooms have balconies, we enjoyed ours throughout the stay. The fridge was convenient to keep our beverages in. Very spacious and super clean rooms. All the staff were very friendly. We checked in and out with no problems. We stayed in Mackinaw five years ago, at a hotel on the water too, no major complaints there, but the Mackinaw Beach & Bay was much nicer in comparison. So, we are thinking of making Mackinaw our every five year trip and would definitely stay at the Mackinaw Beach & Bay again. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Mackinaw.

Good clean hotel on the beach. GPS takes you to Days Inn. Its few blocks away from the GPS destination.

“Graet Stay”

Mackinaw Beach and Bay is a great place to stay. The room was spacious and had a microwave and refridgerator. Two big screen TV's, a king size bed in a separate room. A nice balcony over looking Lake Huron.

“Great Hotel”

We loved staying at the Mackinaw Beach and Bay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpfu. The room was very clean. We were very concerned about so many hotels having bedbugs but we took our beds apart and the mattresses looked brand new. The pool and hot tub were nice and the rooms were right on the beach. Many of the other hotels had bad reviews so we were a bit nervous but the hotel turned out to be more than we expected. We will stay there again.

“Teriffic Hotel”

The entire experience was great! Hotel clerk was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was excellent and the room was beautiful. Only passing through this time, but definitely want to go back and stay a few days.

“The hidden gem of Mackinaw city”

My wife and I wanted to take a weekend trip so we decided to try the Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort . The hotel was a great bargain and it had all the ammenities we needed. Rooms were very pleasant and it was nice having the wet bar area for all of our goodies. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Everything smelled so fresh! We used the pool one night after we got in from shopping; once again we were satisfied. Only complaint the whole weekend was the way the continental breakfast was set up. Wasn't very effective for a weekend crowd. All the food and drinks were compacted into the corner of the room. Was very crowded and a bit unorganized. But the food was very good for a "free" meal. This did not really affect us on our decision to stay at this wonderful hotel in the future. Can't wait to return

“Great Family Hotel”

Stayed here four days to enjoy the Mackinaw area. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive to our family's needs. The lakeview suite offered a great view of the Island - fun for the kids to watch the ferrys going back and forth. The suite set-up provided great separation for parents and kids. The free breakfast buffet included hot waffles, scrambled eggs, assorted pastries, juice, toast, cereals and was kept well-stocked. The pool area was smaller compared to some of the other hotels in the area but clean and big enough for even teens to splash around. Would stay here again.

“Nice, new motel on the lake.”

We loved the suite, which allowed the boys to watch their shows while we watched ours. The breakfast was very good. Room was clean. We enjoyed the pool, which has a waterfall feature. Staff was helpful and polite.

“Definitely would stay there again!!!”

Staff is very friendly. Rooms and hotel are clean, the pool was enjoyable, especially the hot tub! View from the balcony was gorgeous. Convenient location to all the main shopping and ferries to cross to the island. Wish the breakfast had bacon or sausage to go with the eggs, but it was good. Staff knew the area restaurants to recommend some good ones. Beds were comfortable and maid service was exceptional. Our maid even went as far as to align our extra shoes under the table. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to freinds!!!

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel is conveniently located along the late in Mackinaw City. The rooms are large and spacious, the only downside is that you cannot close a door to separate the rooms (would be nice if you have kids that need to go to bed early). The breakfast was plentiful, however, the scrambled eggs appeared to be of the instant variety (not very tasty) and they didn't have bagels (only white and wheat bread for toast). Pool was nice and there were plenty of towels. Very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we found ourselves in Mackinaw City in the future.
