“All the comforts of home”
The hotel room was very roomy and comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were well maintained and the kids especially enjoyed their time there. I wish I was there for more than just the one night.
“Great location”
What a great hotel in a perfect location for Mackinac activities. Right on Main St with a gorgeous view of the lake. We had a great time just sitting in the rockers on the front porch watching people! Close to everything the island offers, the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. It was the perfect place to stay and we would definitely go back; the only issue was the majority of rooms face the pool and it got noisy at night; next time I would request a room away from the pool.
“Very Nice”
Hotel has a great location at the west end of Downtown. The Star ferry line dock is right across the street, so if you want to deal with your own luggage, Star is the ferry line to take. The Lakeside front porch is very enjoyable, rocking chairs to watch the happenings on the main street of the island.
“We got an exceptional great room”
One thing that made our stay at the Lake View Hotel especially nice was the top floor room facing Main street. The view of the harbor and street was great. The kids really enjoyed the pool too. Also the weather was beautiful.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and conveniently located in the downtown and by the dock.
“Wonderful Service and Location”
Our whole experience at The Lakeview was wonderful. The staff was gracious and polite, the room was comfortable, and we had a great view of the lake. The hotel is directly across from the ferry docks which was great and also right on the main street in town (lots of nearby shopping). We felt like we were on our honeymoon (again). The pool and hot tub are nice amd large and centrally located in the hotel. Even though the ferry is right by the hotel, the staff insisted on delivering our bags directly to our room and right away. We loved this hotel and would stay there again and again!
“Great Island Experience!”
Great hotel, great location on Main Street of Mackinac Island. This is a must stay kind of hotel and we will stay here again. Always great to have baggage collected at the docks and brought straight away to your room and taken back to the docks when you depart. Top Rate!
“Great Location”
This is a great historical hotel. It is right across the stree from the Star Line Ferry terminal and within walking distance to many attractions. We would definitely stay there again.
