“Not bad, would use again...probably”

This hotel was pretty nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. The price was pretty reasonable for the location of the hotel and the season. The only complaint's were that the wireless Internet was at BEST spotty. It hardly ever worked and when it did it was slower than dial up. The free hot breakfast was nice but it seemed to never change up. I think one of there big draws to this hotel is supposed to be the LARGE breakfast buffet. It's not really all that big. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. That's it for the hot stuff... no bacon, no pancakes, but to be fair you can make your own waffles. No donuts, no muffins, but there is cereal and toast. Not bad at all for free but not exceptional like they say. I would probably stay here again due to the nice rooms and EXCELLENT location. Location wise its hard to beat RIGHT NEXT to a peer and walking distance from downtown. Plus it has its own private beach. Pretty nice place, but not the best I have stayed in.

“a little chilly”

Was a beautiful hotel, but we went in the winter so the hotel itself was pretty chilly, we had to turn the heat up in the room when we got there and leave for a bit for it to warm up. Overall it was great, the in room hot tub was awesome, very beautiful, and also beautiful views of Lake Huron. I will go back again if I have an opportunity.

“Nice Place”

Not many hotels serve eggs, sausage, etc with the complimentary breakfast but this one does. Coffee/juice cups could be a little bigger though.

“mostly positive”

We stayed in the off-season. Beds and pillows were verey nice, towels nice and fluffy. Room heater hard to use. Drapes covered the heater which seemed to effect the quality of the room heater. Breakifast was outstanding. Reminded me of cruiseships breakfast. Lake side of the hotel wasn't scenic, glad we didn't pay extra for lake side room.

“Average”

Pricey, but then, most in the area probably are. We left early in the morning, but still had not had maid service by 5pm that afternoon. Free breakfast was not worth the price... Room did have a refrigerator but no microwave-- bring your own food.

“Hotel ok”

The pool area was way too hot. You could hardly breathe when you walked in. The breakfast was good, but you think each day they could maybe change something. Bacon for sausage....add pancakes....anything but the same thing everyday. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

“Mackinaw City”

The location of the hotel was great. within walking distance of the downtown area and boat docks. The room was ok. The bed was very uncomfortable. The beach view is great but unfortunately, the beach needs to be cleaned up. The hotel should be taking care of the property that they tout as their own strip of beach. Hotel staff was ok. not overly friendly. Breakfast was good.

“Not Impressed”

I was not impressed with the hotels service. I didn't even get my wake up call that I asked for. I did enjoy the location of the hotel from the shops.
