“Great stay at Stowefalke”
Very pleasant stay and can recommend this hotel to anyone. Be wary of having coffee in the attached bar(Winfield's I think- 8 dollars for 2 cups of rather boring black coffee!) Hotel offers afternoon cookies and coffee/other drinks for free daily. Health club great, nice pools and spa facilities. Free short golf course, bikes available for hire. Several great restaurants a stone's throw from the hotel. Don't think you'll be disappointed!
“I'll be back!”
Spa King room was very clean, spacious, jacuzzi was wonderful and views were spectacular. Swimming pool, pool bar and spa were very enjoyable.
“So many things”
My wife and I went here for a short weekend and really enjoyed it. Stowe is a really relaxing place in general, and Stoweflake resembles the vibe. They had a ton of different exercise classes (spin, pilates, yoga,)... not to mention an indoor and outdoor pool, steam room, and raquetball court. There's even a pool table & ping pong for the kids. They also have a full spa with anything you can think of. We also appreciated a few of the "spa" menu items as well. Its difficult to eat healthy when you're traveling, but it was easy at both of their restaurants. The prices in the restaurants were not obscene either.
“Best hotel in Stowe!”
The rooms are really clean, the spa is beautiful, and the service is awesome. It is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing weekend. My husband and I stay there whenever we visit Stowe.
“Loved the size of the room, the view is wonderful, the staff is very attentive.”
Will go back again and recommend to my co-workers and friends.
“It was nice and cozy with the fire place.”
The hotel was very nice but I think a complimentary breakfast would have been great to have.
“Look forward to returning to Stoweflake someday”
Stoweflake was perfect for our family. My husband and college-age daughter ski but I don't; I snowshoe. While they were on the slops I stayed at the hotel pursuing a variety of activities: working out in the well-equipped fitness center, taking a fitness class such as Pilates, going out on the 5.3 km snoeshow course, getting a spa treatment. I had so many options it was easy to fill my day until my husband and daughter returned from skiing in the mid-afternoon. We usually enjoyed the complimentary, delicious cookies and coffee in the lobby in front of the fireplace which had a wood fire going day and night. My only criticism was that we evidently were in an older wing and our room was a bit cramped, but other than that, it was sheer heaven!
“SNOW TRIP”
EXCELLENT HOTEL.......
“lovely New Year's trip”
My boyfriend and I had a great time at the Stoweflake and would definitely go back. Our room was big and comfortable, and even had a cute (fake) fireplace - even though we had only paid for the standard room. The gym facilities were above average for a hotel.
“Relaxation in Vermont”
This hotel was everything we expected and more! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely accomodating especially with a late check out on our spa day! Would pass on the wings at Charlie B's (one of the restaurants located on the property). While the blue cheese dressing was the best we ever had, the wings left something to be desired.
