“Excellent accomodations”

The resort was located off the main highway on beautiful grounds. The quality of the deluxe room and staff were both excellent.I would recommend it highly.

NIce place close to all location. Very helpful at the front desk. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub.

“Can't be faulted”

Spotless, comfortable room in a great location, about 1/2 mile from the middle of Stowe. Loads of restaurants within a short walk or short drive. Resort itself nestles in a wooded location, just off the main road but still quiet and peaceful. Friendly and helpful staff, and although I didn't ever have time to use them, the pool, gym and spa facilities looked good too. Would definitely go back.

“This is the life!”

I booked this hotel for just a standard king room. Upon my arrival, I was notified that there was no standard king rooms for the night, and that I have been upgraded for free to a mini suite. As if that was not amazing alone, when I got to the room, it was beautiful and huge. It was so cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing, had a whirlpool tub and even a towel warmer. I also really enjoyed the fireplace. I was a first time user of it, so I called down to the front desk, and was pleasantly given instructions on how to use it. The room was so warm after I got the fire going. The staff was friendly and kept the rooms very clean. I came to Stowe for a trip to Ben & Jerry's factory, and when I left, I realized that the hotel was the best part of my stay in Vermont. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler.

“Would definitely go back”

We first came here in May 2004. We liked the clean room and pleasant staff, but what we enjoyed most was how the property was set up. Most rooms seem to have a pond, a gazebo, woods, and even hiking trails right outside your door. It gives the Golden Eagle Resort a cozier, more intimate vibe. We came back in October 2009 to find it was just as comfortable and relaxing as we remembered it. We'll be back again!
