“Fine mountain resort for skiing”
If you like to ski in a very pittoresque littla village, then this is it. The ski station is at walking distance from the hotel. However, if you are looking for great night life, you might be a little short changed, since Quebec City is half an hour's drive on highway. Great rooms, staff is very friendly and the scenery is great. For summer season, the prices are good and low since the ski station is closed, but actually for the Quebec region, this is a good deal since other hotels are very expensive in the city.
“would not recommend”
We were under the impression we had rented a condo but instead it was definately just a hotel room. It was very small and the bed was hard as a rock. The room faced the parking lot, not the mountains. When we went down to complain there was a young girl at the desk who had no clue what to do. She said there was a wedding that night and no other rooms to move to. We had to stay there that night as the room was pre-paid. The restaurant was closed due to the wedding and the outdoor pool closed at 7:00. She did however recommend a great restaurant close by called Saint Peter where we went for a great dinner. The next day we went again to complain about the room and the manager gave us a suite. It was much better - larger and the beds were much more comfortable. We had breakfast there twice which was decent. This location is way out of the way past Quebec City and in the mountains. Very isolated in the summer and not much is open. Would not recommend it for summer travelling. Along way from the highway and we wasted time. However, the surrounding area is lovely - mountains, streams, nice houses etc.
“Great room, inexperienced staff”
The room was spacious and well set up. The cleaning left a little to be desired but that wasn't a deal-breaker as it was acceptable. Staff was unable to answer questions. However, they were pleasant! They overcharged me by mistake but they fixed it.
