“Great Location in Stockolm”

The Sheraton Stockholm is a delightful hotel, with a great location. Right next to the Central Railway station, and yet, overlooking the water, it is perfectly located. The walk to the Royal Palace and the old town is just 5 minutes. The rooms are large and spacious, and beautifully maintained. My wife and I loved our stay there, and would happily recommend it to any one who is looking for a good hotel, well located, with good service.

“Sheraton : central et confortable”

hotel très confortable et très bien situé : 10 minutes à pied de la gare, 5 minutes du centre historique. Le personnel est cordial, poli et prêt à nous aider. Certaines finitions dans les chambres sont à revoir (papier peint qui se décolle par endroit, joints salle de bain pas très net) mais ce sont de belles chambres avec une vue superbe sur le lac. Le club lounge du 7ème étage est à réserver car c'est vraiment très agréable : le cocktail (à volonté...) tous les soirs de 17h30 à 19h30, le buffet petit déjeuner dans un espace privatif, internet illimité dans la chambre. Même s'il y a parfois du monde, ce service en plus est appréciable. La salle de sport est agréable et bien équipée. Bref un superbe hôtel à un prix conséquent tout de même...

“Happy with my stay”

The hotel is centrally located (right across from the central station) and very convenient. They had six workstations set up with free internet access by the bar. I used a paid in-room service SEK 179 for one day (to use ssh, which was not available in the lobby). The staff was very courteous, the breakfast buffet was excellent with made to order omlette. The hotel gave me a special SEK 150 deal on breakfast as an Expedia customer (regularly priced at SEK 250). So, I was very happy -- the room rate I got on Expedia was lower than that available at their own website! I would recommend this hotel to business and leisure travelers.

“Comfortable”

As with any large hotel, you do not feel you are in a different country, so if you want that homey feel a smaller intimate hotel would be your thing. The food, service and amenities were excellent. This hotel is within walking distance to all, waterfront, Old Town, etc. We had a great time.

“Exellent location”

Excellent hotel, unfortunately breakfast was not included. The info on amenities was not very clear on this since most hotels in Europe include breakfast. Only said there was a surcharge. Location is excellent.

“Central Stockholm”

Hi, I visited Stockholm and stayed at this hotel, because of other reviews, indeed it proved to be a good choice! Extremely well located, not far from central station where we arrived from the airport, really close to the boats to go and explore the islands, close to the city center. Inside the hotel, clean and large room, coffee facilities and nice bathroom. Only down size...the view to the ugly center of the hotel only other windows all around, but you can get an upgrade if you'll willing to pay the extra. I recommend not only this hotel but a visit to this fantastic city, I was pleasantly surprised!

“Great hotel with perfect location”

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the central train station. I was not disappointed. The hotel was just a few blocks from the station, and my room was spacious and extremely clean and quiet. It was within walking distance to Gamla Stan and other areas of the city. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

“Outstanding -- way exceeded our expectations”

The staff at the hotel were simply superb -- friendly, courteous, helpful. The room was fine, and had a magnificent view overlooking the water. The site was perfect for walks to all sorts of great areas. The price was very reasonable (especially for Scandinavia). The entire experience was far better than we expected!

“Great breakfast, friendly service, clean room, good location”

The hotel is at the edge of the business section of Stockholm. Close (easy walking distance) to the central train station and metro and the most touristic parts of downtown (Gamla Stan). Hotel room was very clean and comfortable; not much of a view, but that depends on the room. Great breakfast - not included, but definitely worth it. Service is very friendly, although there can be a bit of a wait. The only problem with the hotel are the lifts; they do not read the room key very well and you have to try several times, which is annoying. Overall, a very nice hotel.
