Room was small but everything was great its really close to old town and being new to busses and metro we were able to easily access both really close to the hotel. Definitely try aifur while you’re there. The breakfast was good with ample amount of options. Just know you have to park on the street and let them know you need in the garage if you are parking there. 5-5 would recommend.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Our room with a balcony was really good, with views across the water - the views from lower levels would not be very good though. Breakfast was amazing and the bar was nice.

Amazing location and gym/sauna
The hotel is in a great location, very close to the subway and a short walk to bars and restaurants. It's also walkable to the other more touristy parts of Stockholm. The lobby is average, but the gym and sauna is surprisingly nice. The rooftop terrace is also a very good feature. We opted for the room with a balcony and it was huge, with a great view of the water. The rest of the room is comfortable, but nothing too special. I would opt for the balcony room if possible. The only downside was there was someone else's beverages left in our mini fridge when we checked in.

Generally i liked this hotel, the location was very good as it was a few min walk to old town and to the ferry. The staff were professional amd polite. The breakfast was good, and there was no issue finding a seat. There was parking on site which was a big plus! The rooftop restaurant was a little small and the menu was limited but the food was satisfying. Only issue is they do not have AC, the room was hot and hard to sleep in. I was on the 7th floor so when i opened the window, i would get all the noise from the bar next door, so even more hard to sleep. Othet then that, it was great. I would recommend this place.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great; the dinners were nothing special. All was well until my last night when the main dining area was closed and we had no choice but to use the top floor terrace. This small space was fully occupied by a private party so I was forced to eat my meal in my room. One of the hotel staff said that there wasn't enough staff to have both eating places operating.

Fantastic staff from reception to restaurant and cleaning. Great breakfast buffet. Great location from walking to slussen T banan. We loved staying at Sjömanshotellet. Great location for work and play
Close to Slussen Tunnelbarna and Buses. Easy walking to several key spots. Food good, but a bit pricey. Breakfast was included with the room and there was plenty to chose from. Quiet on the whole, ever with building works in neighborhood.

Hi TonyThank you for taking the time to respond to how your stay with us at Sjöfart was.We start the sauna from the reception, so you need to come and tell us that we are going to start, and it will of course be started.Cleaning is done if you, as a guest, tell us you want it. This is part of Scandic's environmental commitment. Of course, you should have been informed of this upon arrival. If you haven't become one, I'm terribly sorry!Unfortunately, we only have the rooftop bar open during the summer season. This is because the Scandinavian weather is so uncertain and can quickly change between sun and rain during a day.I still hope you can think of coming back to us.Best regards,

Hotel is nice, breakfast is amazing. We had a good view from our balcony, though the road construction was bit loud until about 10 pm. Would stay here again.

Good value and close to the old city and port
Nice hotel and not too expensive. Walking distance to the main tourist areas. Good breakfast and well kept rooms. Shame the roof bar wasn't open, seems everything closes after the beginning of September in Sweden

Great dog-friendly hotel.
We stayed for one night with our dog, who got a little doggy bag on arrival with som lovely dog treats. She was also allowed to hang with us for some drinks in the lobby bar. Everything was great, including the breakfast, which was awesome. Don't forget to try the scrambled eggs!

Great Hotel with perfect location
Great hotel close to all transport links - bus, underground and ferries - and easy walking distance to city centre and Gamla Stan. View from the balcony over Skeppsholmen and Djurgarden was terrific. Room was spacious and well presented, with good sized bathroom. All staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, and breakfast choice was increadible. Already looking to book again when we visit Stockholm later in the year.

Good hotel, Great position, Great Value
Really good hotel, fantastic value considering it's position, only a few mins away from Gamla Stan and the T Bana is very close by to get anywhere in Stockholm. Really good selection for breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again
