“Hotel Scandic Hasselbacken à stockholm”
Superbe hotel, Chambre tres propres tout comme l'hotel Service nickel nous y avons passé une semaine en famille avec nos 2 enfants de 9 et 12 ans. proche des transports et des activités. a tester vraiment. attention "only english or swidish"

Everything was wonderful. Hotel staff were extremely helpful for directions in and around Stockholm.
“So convenient”
We stayed at this hotel for a family vacation. The best part of the hotel is that it is so close to lots of museums, a huge park with beautiful flower gardens, the zoo, many restaurants and the ferry to the old city. All were within 5 minutes of walking. Then a 3 minute ferry takes you to more shopping, restaurants, and the castle. What a perfect location, I would definitely stay here again. Their free breakfast was also amazing with a ton to chose from. The only aspect that we felt could be improved upon was the comfort of the room. It was very small and the pillows were minimal and very flat, but the room was very clean.

“Loved the location.”
The hotel was very comfortable with friendly English-speaking staff. The breakfast buffet was huge, with great pancakes! The location was fantastic, just a 10 minute walk from the Vasa and Nordic museums, Gruna Lund, Skansen and the hop& go boats to take you to the Gmla Stan or whereever you wanted to go. I would love to go back for longer!
“A nice alternative to a city-centre hotel”
The hotel is part of the turn-of-the-20th century development that gave Stockholm Skansen (which is right next door), the countryside and folk museum in the old royal hunting park across the bay from the Old Town. It was modernised c. 1990 in a way that preserves its turn-of-the-century character, especially in the restaurant and terrace. It's a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre, but there is an excellent and frequent tram that runs until late at night, and in compensation you can walk straight from the hotel on rustic paths where the city seems miles away. (There are also ferries if you want to go straight to the Old Town.) Well worth considering as a distinctively Swedish alternative to the fairly anonymous chain hotels in the centre.
“Quiet and green place”
I stayed in Haselbacken for 3 nights together with my wife and 5-year old kid. Location is a key feature of this hotel. They are of course child-friendly with a Playstation and kid's playground where kids can stay while you are dining and generally very nice but all Scandinavian hotels are. However being located within a walking distance from Grona Lund, Junibacken and Skansen is a killing feature you are going to appreciate a lot if you like me are coming to Stockholm to entertain your kid. By the way don't miss the park on Djurgarden behind Skansen. It is not specifically mentioned and any guidebooks but is actually very nice with long alleys, kid's playground and a labyrinth. Despite Djurgarden being somewhat remote city center isn't actually far and can easily be reached by Stockholm's only tram line and you can take a ferry to Gamla Stan. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any families and I'm definitely going to stay with them again.
