“convenient and comfortable”
We found the hotel very convenient, as we had been travelling by train in Sweden and were returning to London Heathrow after two nights at the Scandic. We were able to see some of the city, travel by metro to a beach and reach the high speed rail link to the airport just by crossing the road. good view of Stockholm from the 8th. floor.

We felt safe and found the hotel well situated to the old town,trains, buses and subway. The staff were the best..always helpful. The breakfast that's included each day was fantastic.. We highly recommend this hotel.

“A good place to explore Stockholm from”
The hotel room was comfortable and clean and a great central position for exploring Stockholm, without any city centre noise due to excellent double glazing. The hotel is less than a minute's walk to the underground and mainline trains and about 5 minutes to the river. You can be in Gamla Stan in less than a ten minute stroll. A good hotel but no real views of the city, other hotels may give better panoramic views of the city and waterfront but you probably pay more for this.
“Convenience, comfort, & caring”
Having stayed at several other hotels in central Stockholm, I have some past experience in the area. I found the Scandic Continental to be very convenient, comfortable, and the staff very caring & compassionate. Breakfast was plentiful, although the dining room was just a bit cramped. Don't expect to have a private conversation over breakfast. The desk staff at the Scandic Continental were very helpful in rearranging my travel plans for the next day - researching multiple options to find the cheapest and quickest way to travel to Kalmar. I was really impressed with their knowledge of the various transportation options and the quickness with which they were able to find the timetables for me. The central station was just across the street from the hotel. Many buses left from this street as well. I will definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Très bon confort, excellent petit déjeuner continental. Permet par sa proximité de visiter facilement la ville, de faire du schopping, et de partir en excursion en bateau.
“Great value”
Loved the kids' play room. Perhaps the best breakfast I've ever had in moderately priced hotel.
“Stockholm”
The hotel was just across the road from the main enterance to the train station, which was perfect for getting the train from Arlanda into the city centre. The majority of sights were within walking distance. The hotel looked fairly new and modern. The room we had was bigger than I was expecting, which was nice. There were plenty of places to eat locally as well. If I was going back to Stockholm, I would consider staying here again.
“I'd stay again”
The Scandic Continental is located across the street from the Central Station in Stockholm. It is a very clean, modern hotel in a great location. They have a wonderful breakfast included. It is within walking distance of the Old City, the Royal Palace, museums and great shopping.
