Some rooms, in the oldest part of the Hotel from the 1880s, have their own window bays or Juliet balconies overlooking the heart of the city. The Hotel's own Oasen restaurant is a very popular lunch venue, serving traditional Swedish food on weekdays. Whether you arrive early or late, you can get something to eat at Café Oasen in the Hotel lobby. Hötorgshallen market hall, with an inviting array of food, is also opposite the Hotel. And Kungshallen food court, with 15 restaurants and 800 covers under one roof, is on the other side of the square. Great dining experiences await you at the array of small restaurants surrounding the Hotel and on Kungsgatan shopping street. Many of them are really popular, so we recommend you book a table a few days in advance. The Hotel does not have a license to serve alcohol, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by, and there is a Systembolaget wines and spirits retail store in Hötorgshallen, opposite the Hotel.
