Nordic Sea Hotel, Stockholm, offers 367 guestrooms, all of which feature wooden floors and handmade Swedish beds by Hästens. Rooms are decorated in white, with one deep blue wall by the bed, and modern plexiglass artworks depicting the waters of Stockholm. Furniture includes desk and three-legged chrome chair.

Room Amenities
Dining
Guests of Nordic Sea Hotel enjoy a complimentary Continental/cooked-to-order/buffet breakfast each morning.
Ice Bar - The Ice Bar is one of Stockholm's most popular attractions. It is constructed entirely of clear blocks of ice from the water of the Torne River. Even the glasses are made of ice. The bar is constantly five degrees below zero, so drinkers can borrow warm coats and gloves. Because most drinks would freeze in such an environment, the only tipple on offer is vodka. Hotel guests receive a discounted entrance fee.
Sea Bar & Restaurant - This stylish bar and restaurant is located at the back of the lobby. Features an eight-metre-long brushed steel counter and blue stained-glass wall panels, and is dominated by a huge aquarium. Serves light meals such as Caesar Salad or a large shrimp sandwich, as well as drinks throughout the day.

“Not impressed”
This was the second time I was in this hotel. The place is great and this was one of the major reason to choose this hotel. But beside that nothing really impressing with this hotel. The room are too smal, cleaning so so and coooooold. Even when I brought up to them they just brought up some more blanket !!!!???? The breakfat was very avrage and resturant nothing really good to eat in. All in all great localtion but very normal hotel with no facilities at all.
“So-so”
Probably not worth the cost: great location but not much else lived up to the expense. The service was polite but not very helpful (they need a separate concierge as the desk staff covers this duty as well as bell-hop duty). My room wasn't cleaned for a couple of days because I kept the do-not-disturb sign on the door until 10 am - the maids didn't come back later. Despite a sign, there was no ice machine on my floor so I had to go all the way to the bar for ice. The Ice Bar isn't as cool as one would hope (it feels like you are in a walk-in freezer).
“Very small, but very nice”
Our room was extremely small, with bunk beds and no windows. We knew that in advance though, so we can't complain. The room was very clean and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and very helpfull. Great location. In city center, but even with a car easily accessible. Central station is arond the corner. For some strange reason all the parking garages in Stockholm close after 10pm or so and we arrived after midnight. Good thing the hotel has (valet) parking, although not free.
“Great hotel but expensive”
Nice hotel but can be expensive. Great location. Never tried the icebar but it seemed pretty cool. Good breakfast. The cleaning crew was a bit over zealous (kept coming back multiple times after we told them we didn't want the room cleaned). Be sure to check the room size. Our first room had bunk beds and was smaller than some bathrooms.
“Great location, great price”
The hotel is right next to central station, walking distance to most attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is complete and filling. The price is very good compared to Stockholm prices. The rooms are very small but they're OK, they have everything you need. Be ware that the rooms i'm talking about are the ones with bunk beds no window.
“A comfortable stay and great location”
I would definitely come back to this hotel. The location is perfect for access to public transit and the Arlanda Express. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and conference venues. My room was very nice and clean, although I did not have the best view. A great deal for its price range.
“Great Location - but with Maintenance Issues”
Loved the location, only a few meters from the Arlanda Express station and a short walk to old town and shopping. Front desk staff great, good with an early check in or a late check out when the situation allows. A slight discount for entrance to the Ice Bar located right on property. Room left a bit to be desired. Very small - I think it was close to the size of our recent cruise ship cabin. No air conditioning, normally not a big deal but it was an issue during our stay. Windows opened out, but the proximity to a nearby building meant the loss of privacy with open windows. Window shades are an all open or all closed choice only - so go all dark with privacy or all open to get light. No curtains in the room we stayed in so shade was only option. Rooms could use some touch up maintenance. Shade was falling off window, bathroom floor drain slow, sink drain slow. Tub floor very slippery, no anti-skid mat provided. Again though, it was in a great location. Wireless internet good, but low signal in our room. Hotel provided us with a short cable for alternative connection after a phone call to the front desk.
“Stockholm convenience”
I booked a twin room with no window. The room had bunk beds, dresser, closet and a lovely, tiled bath. I t looked IREAish or Scandinavian, a little smaller than a ship's room w/no window. There was in Ice Bar in the lobby, which my daughter & I paid $18 ea. to enter, rather than the $42 that the ship was charging for this tour. From this location, we walked central Stockholm for two days, plus our ship was harbored by the City Hall attraction. Breakfast came with the price of the room; very substantial. It was perfect!
“Perfect”
What can I say this was my fifth time there this is the perfect hotel for anyone! The breakfast is great, staff is helpful, and the location is perfect!
“Very nice”
I stay at this hotel everytime I'm in Stockholm because it is right next to the central station and arlanda express and all the shopping is less than 5 min walk from the hotel. The ice bar is fun. Rooms are a bit small compared to north american standards but still very nice.
