“so totally kitsch it's cool -- if you get the chance, stay a night or two...”
only intended to stay one night (before an early departure out of Arlanda), but ended up staying an extra night the night before -- best decision i've made! i was greeted very nicely by the person who turned out to be the owner/manager. told him of my travel woes (long hours on trains from western Norway, an almost missed connection in Oslo, and arriving 15 hours later at the jet)...asked if they had any en suites left (they didn't, and i wasn't able to secure one in the first place -- just thought i'd ask) -- ended up getting upgraded to the cockpit suite. it's just that kind of a place -- all the people who ended up manning the reception and public spaces were all very kind and knowledgeable of things to do/see in downtown Stockholm, and all were very accommodating of requests if they were able to do it. neighborhood is really non-existent (it's parked at kind of like the "forgotten" area of the airport), but that's OK -- no raucous noises and it actually made the place an actual destination place. convenient -- if traveling from the States and you have a Eurail pass -- great place to stay as you can travel back and forth on the Arlanda Express freely on your pass...you can then spend the day/evening in touristy Stockholm, but can return to a place where you can get some peace and quiet. can't say enough good things about this place -- though travel divas need not check it out...this one's for a very open-minded adventurous traveler and not your run-of-the-mill tourist.

The accomodation was basic and the shower facilities shared but a great experience and the staff were very friendly - ideal airport location for early flight.
“Fun at the airport.”
Excellent option if you have an early flight out of Arlanda airport and don't want to spend the night downtown Stockholm, which is at least 45 minutes away (taxi (expensive) or the Arlanda express train (not cheap either)). That was the case for me and my family (wife and daughter). We shared a room, which is very clean and even has a good flat TV but, small as, let's not forget, it is inside of a Boeing 747, so it was expected. But being 3 in the room required some engineering and logistics to handle the luggage. Bathrooms and showers are shared, having3 or 4 at the tail of the plane. They are clean and friendly/easy to use, had no problems to use them as there was always one available. Breakfast (coffee, juice, yogurt, breads, cheese and cold cuts) is available from 3 am on, what is very pratical and is served at the front of the airplane, right beside check-in. Important to mention also that there was no disturbance or noise from the airport during the night. A free shuttle bus to the terminals passes every15 minutes after 5 am and every half an hour before that. Again, I recommend without doubt this hotel if you have an early flight and to have the fun of staying in an airplane. For longer stays and to visit Stockholm it may not be the best option.
“airport ease, special experience”
Arrived after 10:30 pm at Arlanda and went straight to jumbo for a good nights rest before business meetings. Easy to reach, cute well cared for small room with 2 bunks & a tv/wi fi. OK breakfast. All you need for a quick sleep. Staff were friendly. Little pricey for a quick sleep but Stockholm isnt a bargain
