“Perfect Room”

Perfect location, clean and classy room with nice view and super comfy bed. This hotel is ideal for long or short stay. Helpful yet reserved staff. Very accomodating. Been coming to Stockholm for years and have stayed in several hotels. Considering price and location this ranks at the top. Their breakfast is only fair however. It is definitely satisfying but that's it. Some of the other hotels go the extra mile in terms of quality and choice when serving breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!

“Stureplan Hotel, Stockholm”

Overall nice place to stay in Stockholm. Personnel is friendly and very helpful. Would have wished for larger room, however, as I could not remove all my stuff from the suitcase - clothes and business material. Made it very uncomfortable to work.

“Nice Hotel, 100 yards from entertainment area”

This hotel about a 100 yards north of the Stureplan "square" which is part of the main business / entertainment area. It is close enough for an easy 2 minute walk to the area but quiet enough to get rest at night. It is 2 KM from the main train station if you walk. The strand and the center of Stockholm are about 1 KM away by foot. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and accomodating. They even lent me a wall socket adapter for use during my stay without charge. Breakfast buffet was good. No nightclub but these are 2 minute walk away as are coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Overall, very satisfied and would stay here again.

Stureplan - 2 Minutes by foot. (Entertainment) Strand - 10 Minute walk. (Entertainment, ferries - but not cruise ships) Film square - 10 Minute walk
When to go
Summer, Take a jacket as Sweden can be nippy, even in the summer.

“Great Location”

This hotel has a lots of charm and are located right in the middle of Stockholm. You can walk everywhere from here or take the Metro which is 200 Meteres away. The breakfast was great but lacks varity if you stay longer (We stayed 6 nights). Overall a good hotel and we would stay there again of we go to Stockholm.

“Nothing short of delightful”

This hotel is so beautiful you won't want to leave your room. My room was ready early, breakfast is great, the staff is friendly, and the location is fantastic! I would definitely stay again.

Area recommendations
Sodermalm is really neat with lots of interesting shops, cafes, and bars.

“Exceeded expectations”

Room was beautifully restored, spacious and clean. Breakfast was complained about in another review but I don't know what their problem was because it was expansive and delicious. Staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly in every way. Room faced back alley; quiet and comfortable.

Area recommendations
Check out awesome Saluhall food court. Vasa museet is must see.

“great atmosphere!”

The Hotel is in great location. The breakfast was great. Just consider that rooms are small, but nicely decorated! I suggest this hotel for a great weekend!

“Great Hotel and Good Location”

I stayed at two places in Stockholm - an apartment and this hotel. They were in two different areas. We were very pleased with this hotel. The room is a really good size (we got the one above standard) especially for European rooms. The bathroom is very modern and nice. My mom stayed in a standard room and had a baby cot in the room and still had room to move around, so even a standard is a decent size. Some people complained about noise, but with the window shut we didn't hear anything. We went in the summer and there is A/C. We slept very comfortably. We had to leave earlier than they served breakfast so they fixed us up with a breakfast to go. I would recommend this hotel.

Area recommendations
This is in a great location. You can walk to just about any area of Stockholm. There is even a ferry stop about two blocks away. We did not use the subway, so I am not sure of that, but I would image there is one close.
Family-friendly activities
You can walk to the Nordic Museum from here. Steps away from the Nordic Museum is a ton of stuff for kids to do, such as an amusement park, a toddler/young child's play area (Junibacken), and Skansen (open air museum).

“Quite nice - Reasonable value at the discount rate.”

The hotel was fine. The Junior Suite is a lot smaller than it looks in the photo. Nice bed. Bathroom was a bit strange, but ok. The wireless internet did not really work in my room, but it was in a corner. Breakfast very average. Staff were fine. At the highly discounted price this was good value, at full price it would be borderline, although Stockholm is very expensive. Not especially happy or unhappy in the end.
