Wonderful hotel in great neighborhood

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: What I loved about the hotel was its friendly, helpful staff; its great breakfasts; wonderful coffee machine on the 4th floor (makes cappuccinos, etc.
Cons: I don't think anything could be improved!
Location: Location is on a lovely square in Sodermalm--there are cafes, shops, and galleries nearby. Best of all is the walk a block away with stunning views.
Didn't want to leave! My experience was luxurious.

Nice hotel even nicer breakfast

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Enjoyed our stay in the hotel celebrating a friends 40th. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar was good and had a nice atmosphere. And breakfast was lovely and definitely worth the little bit extra we paid. It was also very quiet in the room, day and night. If I were to pick fault, and I am being picky, the bed was a little soft. Would go back to stay and recommend to a friend.

Funky hotel on Stockholm

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: The staff are amazing and gave really great restaurant recommendations in the expensive city.
Cons: A bigger bathroom.
Location: A great place to be based to walk anywhere in Stockholm and much nicer area than the city centre. go an have a salad at 8T8 nearby; really great!
Modern hotel, great bar for a martini and relaxed atmosphere for a good breakfast.

Lovely hotel, super comfortable beds

Posted 28-Sep-2014
A lovely hotel for a family stay. The only downside was the bathroom was a little small and didn't have a bath, however the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff we're very accommodating with our 20 month old son, and I imagine it would be a great place to stay without kids too as the bar and restaurant seem to be very popular. There is a small playground in the square, and the breakfast was delicious. All round a great hotel. Bravo Benny!

Good breakfast, good DVD/CD facilities in room

Posted 23-Sep-2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: See above.
Location: Not as central as some hotels but it was fine and we walked to everywhere we wanted to go easily.
The room, particularly the bathroom, was on the small side but it was quiet and good quality. The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent, and I liked that you could help yourself to tea, coffee, water at any time. Also there was an easy to use PC and printer (handy for online check-in and printing boarding passes).

Perfect hotel in fun neighborhood

Posted 9-Sep-2014
Pros: Welcoming and lively
Location: Trendy neighborhood, with good restaurants, and though not near the standard tourist attractions, near a good tube line
Would highly recommend this hotel. While not in the center near tourist attractions, very near a tube station and in a fun neighborhood. Staff uniformly lovely and helpful, rooms nice, and breakfast and room service fantastic.

Great boutique hotel

Not your traditional hotel (and that's a good thing). Everything was very well handled from checkin to recommendations for activities and restaurants and everything in between. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location superb within walking distance of virtually all main attractions in Stockholm near fine dining and shopping. The breakfast that was included was five star.

Overpriced for what you get

Posted 3-Sep-2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful concierge staff
Cons: Pricing and way to minimise noise levels from club close-by
Location: Sodermalm is quite a walk from the old town and the shopping precinct, but it has some good coffee bars, shops, and Soder Hjarta restaurant
Although not a bad hotel, we felt that it was overpriced, especially as it was a good walk away from where most of the action is. I traded up to a superior room, only to find not much difference to a standard room except a few extra DVD s and minor decor differences. We were put on the second floor with a terrible view of the back of the adjoining hotel and roof. On the second night a nearby club was pumping music until 2am which made sleep very difficult. When I called reception to find out what could be done I was offered ear-plugs! Surely if the hotel knows that raucous music is likely then the superior rooms should face the park on the other side of the hotel? Although there are a few trendy bars and shops in Sodermalm, we Should probably rather have stayed at the Grand Hotel or similar closer to the old town

short stay

Posted 1-Sep-2014
Pros: The food in the hotel was of a high standard, we ate breakfast in the hotel each day and there was plenty of choice. the hotel was also clean and tidy
Cons: the rooms are very small, not sure how that can be improved but it was an issue, especially the bathroom which was tiny.
Location: the location of the hotel is very good, the metro is a short walk away. There are lots of museums with easy reach and a good selection of shops.
This is a very nice hotel in a good area, close to lots of museums etc. It is a short walk to Gamla Stan the oldest part of Stockholm. We found it easy to walk to Gamla Stan each day and from there we would get a ferry to one of the museums or walk over to the main part of Stockholm where there was a big shopping centre. There is a lot to see and do but as we only had 4 days we selected just a few museums to see. The only down side to the experience was the size of the room but as it was clean and comfortable we didn't let it spoil our visit. i did find the bathroom too small though, difficult to get dry when you come out of the shower. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. there were also tea and coffee making facilities on the 4th floor and a computer and printer.
