In the evening, guests of the Hotel Rival can enjoy classic cocktails in the hotel's Art Deco bar, which retains much of its original decor. The hotel boasts its own restored 1930s 700-seater cinema, which is used for meetings, conferences, workshops, and fashion shows. Café Rival - Light, informal café serving fresh bread from the adjacent Rival Bakery, plus coffee, salads, lunches, hot snacks, beer and wine.

“Loved it”
Fabulous decor,friendly staff. We felt at home here.Worth every penny - well thought out hotel from the coffee/ice available on 4th floor to the teddy for lonely travellers!!!! Would go back in a minute

Wonderful hotel. Service personnel couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Bit fonky, but delightful. Restaurant, while a bit expensive, was was excellent. While a bit away from main attractions, easy walk and bus and metro are right there. Benefit of location was it was very quiet.

Hotel Rival beautifully designed -- quiet inside rooms have french doors that open to beautifully lit courtyard. Free cappuccino/latte machine was a wonderful bonus. Only criticism -- night lighting in the room, although elegant fixtures, was poor.
“Space and Style”
Modern, spacious hotel with a host of added extras. Attentive and helpful staff. Located a little south of the "old Town" but an easy walk over the bridge. And subway stop is only a two minutes away. Hotel restauarant and bars offer good food and ambiance.

An excellent hotel to stay in for a perfect visit to stockholm. well located in lovely sodermalm, next to a beautifully foutained square where you can sit and watch the world go by. We will definitely stay here again when we return to sweden.
“Very Enjoyable Stay”
Stayed in room overlooking the square for 4 nights in July 2008. Hard to find any fault with this hotel. Only minor niggle was that it was a bit noisy outside on one or two nights, but we did have the window wide open to let fresh air into the room (because of the humid weather conditions). Had the window been shut we probably wouldn't have heard anything. Would go back to this hotel if we were re-visiting Stockholm.
