“hotel riddargartan”
I thought the hotel was great - especially the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty. I did come back one night to find police in the lobby and on my floor. There had been a break-in at the hotel and several rooms were broken in to, but not mine. The police entered my room with me and did an inspection. I thought the hotel could have done a better job of informing people of how they were dealing with the situation to ensure my safety.

The hotel was in a great location, our room was spacious and comfortable and we had fantastic breakfasts included in our package. Also the staff were very helpful and friendly in assisting us in finding places to visit and see. Would definitely stay there again!
“Great Place”
I stayed at the hotel Riddargatan during the Stockholm marathon and was VERY impressed with the hotel. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities including a dvd player in the room, music cds to listen to, small workout weights,... On top of the room itself, the location was excellent and within a few blocks of Stureplan which has great nightlife. Expedia has the room listed as two stars but it is easily 3 and pushing 4! Great Place!

Superbly located for central Stockholm right next to all the best nightlife on Stureplan. Very friendly staff and I can recommend the newly refurbished rooms on the third floor.
“Nice place- Very pleasantly surprised”
You never know what you're going to get, but my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Newly remodeled with fun design features and a great location. We will definitely stay here again. "Condition & Maintenance" got a 4 instead of a 5 because the main elevator wasn't working.

“Can't say enough good things about this hotel!!!!”
I was totally impresed by this hotel, I couldnt believe how nice it was!! I got a great price, but they could easily charge more! I had a single room and for europian standards it was very big! And most of all I was shocked to see a plasma TV in my room, with DVD and weights to excercise!! Breakfast is your typical european continental breackfast. It also has a great location, 5 minute walk to peer, 10-15 minute walk to Old Town and your practically in the shopping district!!! Loved it!!! I can't say anything bad about it!
“Very smart hotel”
Very impressed with the hotel, in all aspects. There were a couple of small things that should be mentioned. The room was on the 5th floor, and although it wasn't hot outside, it was very warm in our room. There were breakfast facilities which were good, but no restaurant (just bar snacks)if you are looking for that kind of thing.
“Riddargatan stay”
The hotel is well located and close to Ostermalmtorg metro station - the only thing is to know where to go. This does mean it has easy access to Strandvagatan and the waterfront in that area. The rooms are really comfortable with typical Swedish design.
“Great Location, Good Value”
This hotel is on a side street, just around the corner from shopping, eating, and two minutes away from the water. If you miss American establisments, there is a McDonald's, 7-11, and a TGI Friday's within two minutes of the hotel. The entrance to Stokholm's subway is just around the corner. Because the hotel is on a side-street, it is very quiet at night. If you are a light sleeper, this is the hotel for you. Hotel staff is very friendly, free wireless internet (if you bring your laptop), free buffet breakfast (not that much selection, but they do serve, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes along within usual continental breakfast items). I had a twin room, nicely decorated, very modern, very clean, but it is small. Remote control, large flat screen t.v. (oddly large considering the size of the room). Another drawback, no air conditioning. It didn't bother me since it was late September, and weather was getting cool. But, I can imagine that being an issue during the summer. Overall, great value compared with rates at other hotels. So, if you'd like good value, you should consider this hotel.
