“Would go back again for sure”

It is a great boutique hotel located within walking distance of everywhere you need to be in the city of Stockholm. The full breakfast was amazing, the staff was amazing, and the bar was just what one could use at the end of the day. Overall we would definitely come back to this hotel again. The bathrooms were a little teeny, but the interior and decorating were also very nice, a mix of modern with antique...and like I said, the people made it worth coming back again on their own.

A very nice hotel with always friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Amajor selling point is the very central location. Generally, the whole city can be discovered by feet. I would certainly return to this nice hotel. The fact that it is located in a calm side street away from the hustle and bustle makes it even more attractive. The only downside was that we ordered a room with a "Queen" or at least a double, but found two single beds pushed together. That was not that great ...

“Beautiful Stockholm”

This hotel was in great location, nice neighbouhood and very comfortable. The sitting room and free coffee was ver ynice after a day of walking and the staff helpful.. Being more in a neighbourhood one felt very much at home and a treat to stay in this part of Stockholm, close to the centre, interesting streets and cafes. As a single traveller of a certain age I loved it.

“Great Small Hotel in Stockholm”

The Hellsten was a really enjoyable place to stay. The room, while small by American standards, was quite comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There was free internet access in the room and free wireless in the lobby. The bar was a great place to wind down from a day of touring and a wonderful opportunity to talk to people from a variety of countries.

This hotel is lovely. The staff is very helpful yet unobtrusive. Rooms are small but always comfortable and well kept. The bar is terrific and I found internet access very easy. Breakfast is also good. The location is superb. Quiet residential area with many ethnic restaurants and good coffee shops. Very close to the t-bana and within walking distance of major shopping areas if that matters. I've stayed many places in Stockholm, including in Gamla Stan, and I find this much preferable. It's much quieter yet you can be in Gamla Stan or Sodermalm in 10 minutes via the T. A terrific place to stay.

I have stayed at Hotel Helsten a number of times. Always a pleasure. The staff is positive, helpful and brim with "positive" energy. The price for the stay is a steal.
