Great location. Walking distance to the city center. Flybussen/Airport Express bus dropoff and pickup location right in front of the hotel - very convenient! Good breakfast buffet. But the breakfast buffet at the Clarion/Comfort Hotels I stayed at in Alesund and Tromso had more food choices/varieties. Room window was dirty, however. Overall, I would consider staying here again in the future.

We paid the extra for the lake view upgrade. However the outside of the windows eeee so dirty it was not a pleasant view and not worth the up charge. .

Noisy, but nice
Love this hotel, the location, the staff, the lot. Sadly though, on this occasion, I was not forewarned of construction work right out back and it ruined a good night’s sleep for me with crazy drilling noises from the crack of dawn. I’d have appreciated at least a warning and a room on the opposite side of the hotel to the works, but no, it was all happening right outside my window :-( Still love the place, but not as much this time as last!

Cozy room with a comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing views from the front of the building. Staff were helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was quite nice with plenty of options. I will definitely stay there again!

My wife and myself had a good stay at this property. The staff was excellent and the breakfasts were very good. My only complaint is that our mattress was way too soft. My wife and myself have back issues and we require a very firm mattress to support our backs. The mattress was so soft that the maintenance staff had to put a sheet of plywood under the mattress topper. This helped support our backs but made for a very hard sleeping surface and negatively impacted the quality of our stay at this property.
