“best budget choice in Stavanger”
There are two Comfort Hotels in Stavanger. I stayed at the smaller one on Klubgata. It turned out to be a great choice. Fantastic location close to a lot of attractions, as well as to the Tourist Office. Short walk to the pier where the boats to Tau (Preikestolen) and Lysebotn (Kjerag, via the Lysefjord) leave. Price great, cheap for Norway. Room for singles was tiny but well designed and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was helpful, always friendly. There is free internet in the lobby, as well as free coffee and tea all day ! The huge breakfast is included in the price with all kinds of good stuff you can imagine, and I ate myself so full on each of the two separate days I stayed that I only needed small snack for lunch. What else can I say, oh yes there is also a reasonably priced deli very close. Great place to stay !
“Comfort in Stavanger”
Perfect stop-over after a long wet ride(m/cycle)from N.Wales. Thanks to the management and staff.
“It does the job”
Central, reasonably cheap for the area, with very friendly staff, free WiFi and a decent breakfast. Against that, the room wasn't the warmest, and a metal bar from my ceiling jumped out and crashed to the floor of the bedroom when i was in the shower (Poor roof design as opposed to defect, which also affected the heating) and the hotel in general was looking a bit tired and worn.
“Comfortable and well located”
A comfortable room with a good outlook. Shower cubicle very small, reception supplied hair dryer when requested, no fridge but free coffee available in the foyer, good breakfast selection in large, bright room. Good internet facilities and short distance to central attractions, including harbour.
“Fine Budget hotel”
Good location, clean room, adequate size, free internet. Close to shops and supermarket. Five minute walk to passenger ferry. Satisfactory budget hotel. Would stay there again. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast reasonable.
“A good option”
The location of this hotel is ideal, close to the ferry terminals and to the centre of town - easily able to walk to everything. Rooms are basic but reasonable, breakfast variety good. Good curtains for the early morning sun. Only downside some noise from nightclub nearby in my room. Good value for money.

this hotel is placed right in the centar of the town. Good for weekend breaks but do not expect dead silence on sturdays nights :)
“NOT A PLEASANT SURPRISE”
•Review Title: NOT A PLEASANT SURPRISE •Hotel Review: My husband and I were in Norway to visit relatives for one more time. Upon arrival the room we were shown was extremely small--not even enough room to put suitcases down and get around comfortably. I asked for a larger, more comfortable room and was shown one with a small lounge adjoining the bedroom. I specifically asked for the same room when we returned for 2 nights. That night we were told the room was given to some swimmers. The room we were given had a large bathtub w/shower and a single bed! We are a couple in our 80's and require a walk in shower and 2 beds. When I called the office I was told the room next door was exactly like the room I requested. We picked up our bags and moved @ 10:00 in the evening in our pajamas!! Why not give what the guest requested upon arrival?? The breakfasts were good and the breakfast room was adequate for the travelers.
