Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room is tired and needs to be updated. The bathtub has nicks where the porcelain is missing and the caulking isn't wonderful.
Location: We were on route to SC. Ristos was a good restaurant.
I think we could do better for the price we paid. The bathroom really needs updating. An old and nicked tub that was fairly slippery when taking a shower. Bed was good and carpet was nice. The walls were textured wild paint. Not our cup of tea.

Great place to stay

Staff was friendly enough and the room was very clean. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but was OK. I would recommend to a friend.

Nice hotel for the stay.

Pros: Atmosphere, continental breakfast, and indoor pool.
Cons: Response to customer requests.
Location: A little bit of travel to restaurants, nothing close.
Enjoyable. Remodeling going on so there were boxes in the hallways. Did not have a reading lamp by the love seat in the room so requested one. I was told they could get one from another room after guests checked out but one was not brought to the room. Would have preferred to read on the love seat and not the bed.

Desk clerk at around 5:30 pm needs to be more aware of guests than using ipod. Whenwe asked about restaurants she looked from her phone and pointed to a pile of papers and said there is the list. Quite honestly if I was the manager I would require all cell phones off and put away. I was in the service business for over 35 years and it is nothing that I wouldn't expect my supervisors to require of me. Especially during the day and afternoon shifts. We should have been encouraged verbally about restaurants in your area so we would consider staying at your place again. Normally we stay at la quinta in charlotte and are very welcomed at the front desk.

Hi Peggy, Thank you for reviewing your stay with us and bringing my attention to something that should not be happening. I have reminded my front desk staff that cell phones are not permitted at the front desk. There is a sign on the wall in the back office that every single employee sees every day. It says "The Guests takes priority over everything." The sign is not there to be pretty. It is my number one rule for each and every employee. The only issue, and this is a minor one, is that there are very few restaurants at this exit.
