"Clean and comfortable hotel"
Had a great stay at this hotel. Though the location is not the most convenient, it is within walking distance to bus stops and so travel really wasn't a problem. Breakfast was OK, not the best, but at least it was complimentary!

I don't normally do reviews, but I feel I have to with this hotel, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out ( and beyond) the hotel accommodated for us. The breakfast never ran out like some reviews had said, we had clean towels, the beds were made, we had tea & coffee in our room, a fridge. I will definately be staying again if I visit New York, oh & the public transport is fantastic, just $31 for a 7 day pass which gives you access to the buses & train. Loved my stay

My husband and I stayed at this hotel only one night. The hotel staff were very accommodating, by allowing us to check in to our room a little early because of my husband's disability needs. When we arrived back from a party, we found in our room a bottle of champagne and a card enclosing a gift certificate for two free breakfasts which we enjoyed the next morning.

Always enjoy seeing and talking wth her. Very concerned and considerate of the needs of people staying at hotel. Very courteous! I come often and enjoy everyone there. Wonderful port or..young black gentleman put refrig in my I could keep juice to take with my medicine. (Can't remember his name. Very sweet and had good Christian attributes!). "A Charming Stay in Staten Island"
Before I had even arrived at the Victorian Bed & Breakfast, I knew that it was going to be wonderful. The owner and I had been playing phone-tag regarding my time of arrival and breakfast accommodations, and her voicemails alone revealed her to be a delight. She greeted us with the utmost hospitality, and entering the house was like stepping into another era. Beautiful china, paintings, and antique furniture decorated the spacious rooms, with ceilings reaching high into the sky. Our room was equally charming, with fresh roses (from the bushes out front) in a vase, and the softest, fluffiest pillows I've ever laid my head on. My boyfriend and I were visiting the city, and only had a few moments to check-in and deposit our baggage before we took the ferry over. However, in the morning, we had the chance to better acquaint ourselves with the house and with its lovely owner. Not only did she prepare a beautiful table for us, with delicate china and antique glass dishes, but she also accommodated our food preferences. We are both vegan, and she went out of her way to provide a delicious, nourishing vegan breakfast for us! We had the pleasure of chatting with her over breakfast, after which she gave us a tour of her backyard garden and showcased her beautiful plants & flowers. I wish we could have stayed longer!

"la vieille anglaise"
On se croirait dans un Londres ancien, une tasse de thé, la vieille anglaise toujours belle. il y a Paul, discret, mais toujours là. Manahattan à un jet de ferry, pour rêver chaque jour.
