"Clean and comfortable hotel"
Had a great stay at this hotel. Though the location is not the most convenient, it is within walking distance to bus stops and so travel really wasn't a problem. Breakfast was OK, not the best, but at least it was complimentary!

"Enjoyed My Stay"
Room was comfortable. Good a/c unit. Shower with good water pressure. Comfortable bed. The television could be bigger and mounted on the wall. Having it sit on a low dresser made it difficult to watch while lying in bed. The front desk staff were helpful. The restaurant staff was exceptional during both a rehearsal dinner and a breakfast.

"Wonderful staff!tasty grand breakfasts."
Breakfast servers went above and beyond their duties. Very friendly. Front desk very helpful and accommodating...concerned for their customers....Marie was a doll. Always enjoy seeing and talking wth her. Very concerned and considerate of the needs of people staying at hotel. Very courteous! I come often and enjoy everyone there. Wonderful port or..young black gentleman put refrig in my room...so I could keep juice to take with my medicine. (Can't remember his name. Very sweet and had good Christian attributes!). Also maintenance engineer (Italiano) very helpful and nice! Looking forward to coming back!

"A Charming Stay in Staten Island"
Before I had even arrived at the Victorian Bed & Breakfast, I knew that it was going to be wonderful. The owner and I had been playing phone-tag regarding my time of arrival and breakfast accommodations, and her voicemails alone revealed her to be a delight. She greeted us with the utmost hospitality, and entering the house was like stepping into another era. Beautiful china, paintings, and antique furniture decorated the spacious rooms, with ceilings reaching high into the sky. Our room was equally charming, with fresh roses (from the bushes out front) in a vase, and the softest, fluffiest pillows I've ever laid my head on. My boyfriend and I were visiting the city, and only had a few moments to check-in and deposit our baggage before we took the ferry over. However, in the morning, we had the chance to better acquaint ourselves with the house and with its lovely owner. Not only did she prepare a beautiful table for us, with delicate china and antique glass dishes, but she also accommodated our food preferences. We are both vegan, and she went out of her way to provide a delicious, nourishing vegan breakfast for us! We had the pleasure of chatting with her over breakfast, after which she gave us a tour of her backyard garden and showcased her beautiful plants & flowers. I wish we could have stayed longer!

"Excellent place to stay"
Room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Paul, the owner, was very friendly. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy but was actually pretty safe. Police station is nearby as is the courthouse, Staten Island ferry, minor league baseball stadium, public library and many cafes and restaurants.
