“George Stays in Stamford”
Stamford Plaza formerly the Stamford Sheraton has continued its excellent reputation. the rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable and the services within the hotel are more than adequate for a one or two night stay. The staff was knowledgeable of the area and certainly willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible

hotel was easy to get to and from....close to the major higways....best room service food that i've had in a loooooooong time.

Everything was great about our stay. I went with 2 children and the staff were so great. The food was the best I have tasted in a long time and the waite staff were wonderfull to the children making them feel special. It was a real treat.

Room service tray sat outside our door for the two days that we were there which was sort of strange but aside from that the hotel itself was very nice.
“Wonderful Experience”
I was very pleased with the quality, comfort and service of this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable with the best linens. The bar and restaurant were outstanding, I had the best roast chicken salad I have ever had! The staff wear all wonderful and I was happy to be able to access the internet at their computer station. This was a great experience.
“Excellent hotel for sleep and shower”
I used it as a place to sleep for the night during a trip to New York City (about 40 min drive). Pretty decent hotel and everything that you would expect for its star rating. Do not expect 5-star luxury because it is not. Nice lobby and rooms are very reasonable, though nothing luxurious. Wifi was free and that was awesome but I was not happy to have to pay for parking.
“One Of The Finest”
This is by far one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was very clean and comfortable although dated. With a lounge, restaurant, and your shop in the lobby, you can have it all without leaving the hotel although these services were slightly pricey. The only small downside was parking, but not bad considering the location of this place. I would highly recommend this location to anybody for any occasion. Plenty of places to eat and plenty of shopping all within walking distance.
