"GREAT PLACE FOR VACATION! I loved the staff!!!!!"
I loved the staff and the experience! Everyone was wonderful, calm, relaxing and catered to our everything! The owner was joyful and just part of the family! I loved that the best! Food was awesome! everyone from housekeeping, bartender, cook, and manager were helpful with all needs (food, refreshments, travel assistance and even entertainment).

The hotel was beautiful - right on the beach and well maintained. The photos on the website are quite nice but the reality of this place is even better. The food was excellent but it is pricey so be prepared (at least $100 for 2 for dinner, no alcohol). The staff was friendly and caring. The sand beach is perfect for strolling, swimming, laying out (the chairs are set up each morning with pads and towels and the beach was raked each morning). I did not snorkel at the resort beach but heard there was good snorkeling near the rocks a little ways into the bay. The rooms all face the ocean and each had a balcony or porch open to the ocean. The windows had screens so you could hear the ocean at all times with few bugs. There are mosquitos so bring a bug repellant but the bugs weren't bad enough to stop me from sitting on the balcony every day. A/C unit worked fairly well.
The one negative comment - if you are looking to tour the Tabago Cays, do not book through the hotel. The crew they booked for us was not good at all. However, if you take a short stroll past the Pirate Cove Bar to the Canouan Dive Center and book a trip with Vaughn and Kai, you will not be disappointed. The trip with Vaughn and Kai was wonderful as the guys are friendly and professional and knowledgeable. Snorkeling with Kai was great!
I would definitely recommend this resort and island if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation where spending time on the beach, snorkeling, and diving are your goals.

Everything was first class, from the service, to the food, to the facilities. We came here to relax after a week of sailing with Tradewinds Cruise Club and it was an experience above and beyond our expectations.

I spent three nights at the Hotel in August 2014. The hotel is a short distance from the airport, and is alittle bit isolated from every day street activity. It is situated on a cliff overlooking the sea. I enjoyed a very nice view from my room and the hotel restaurant. The beach is a short walk down the hill from the hotel. It is a narrow beach but it got the job done. The pool is upstairs on the hotel grounds and was adequate. The staff were very nice, pleasant and helpful. I received an e-mail before my arrival, reminding me to get something to eat before arrival, because by the time I arrived, about 11:00 PM, the hotel would be shut down for the evening, with no food facilities available. I thought was very helpful advice, and a reflection of "caring" on the part of the hotel. After a certain PM hour, only security guards are on duty at the front desk area. I was able to get a bottle of water upon arrival from the security staff. I did appreciate receiving the e-mail about eating before arrival though. The restaurant in the hotel was good and served a nice breakfast. Dinner was served at the beach front restaurant down the hill. I did not have the opportunity to try dinner at that restaurant; only pizza and drinks. My only beef was that a "small refregerator" in the room would have been "very helpful" to keep cold, such things as my water, preserve snacks, preserve the milk for the baby, and of course keep my beer cold; so that was a negative. Anyway, good hotel.

The receptionist was very friendly and courteous.
None of the staff introduced themselves by name.
There was complimentary writing paper in the room but no pens!
The hotel was virtually empty yet I was not offered an ocean view room.
It was refreshing to see facial tissue on my bedside table.
TVs need an upgrade.
I was not able to open the drapes all the way.
My concern about the bathroom faucet was addressed promptly.
