Overall

Pros: Walking distance to almost everything. Friendly and helpful staff. They also shuttled to Magen's Bay for the day and provided beach towels.
Cons: There were shutters between the bathroom and the main room, I wish it was a solid wall to block any noise coming from the bathroom. ie. blow dryer
Location: The location was walking distance to downtown, shopping and restaurants. Yacht Haven and Havensight is a much longer walk but a beautiful one.
This was a great hotel! Walking distance to almost everything. The employees were so friendly and helpful. Bus stop and safari buses were right outside the hotel if you didn't want to walk. We didn't have a view from our room but we spent so little time in there that it didn't matter to us. We just cared that it was clean and they did an excellent job with that.

It's what I expected, and no worse or better. Pleasant experience but no above and beyond.

Great location to walk to shops.

Posted 19-Nov-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: More choices in food service. Snacks in vending machines or elsewhere in the hotel would be great.
Location: Location is in a not so nice neighborhood but shops and restaurants very nearby
Spend 4 nights . The rooms and motel were clean and hotel staff were very nice. Neighborhood not the best at night and can be loud if your facing the backside towards Frenchtown. Very convenient to walk to town and get around St. Thomas without spending a fortune on taxis. Would stay there again.

Staff seemed preoccupied, service was minimal. We stayed in a room that was at the rear of the hotel which definitely needed a deep clean.

Bad experience

Posted 15-Nov-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tear it down and start from scratch.
Location: Be careful after dark.
Smelly room, dirty bathroom, cold water, rude staff, unsafe at night, would not provide me with a receipt for my one night stay. Avoid this place at all costs. Very dissatisfied.

ALL IN ALL A GOOD BUSINESS STAY.

Posted 15-Nov-2014
Pros: CONVENIENCE
Cons: THE GUARDED PARKING AREA IS SMALL AND INCONVENIENT.
Location: GOOD EATS IS FRENCHTOWN WHICH IS CLOSE BY.
I RESERVED A PREMIUM ROOM WITH THE VIEW TO THE WATERFRONT. I FORGOT THAT THE HIGHWAY YOU LOOK OVER IS ALSO A LATE NIGHT DRAG STRIP, MY BAD.

Decent hotel, better ones on island

We reserved a king room for our honeymoon a month prior. When we got there they didn't have a king and we had to sleep in two full beds. Staff is very rude and slow. We waited in like for an hour to check in and the check in process took another 30 min. The hot let guest are not friendly, and don't smile or greet you. The. Hotel offer a lot of amenities but none of the amenities are open. To go to the gift shop you have to have someone at the front desk open the door, the spa wasn't open, weird hours for the restaurant, the bartender was never around to open the bar, there's a huge lounge that nothing happens in, you can't get liquor in the casino, and the gym is literally gross and smelly. When I return to St. Thomas I will not stay here and go to the Marriott. We visited that place and it is sooooo much better.
