At check in, the front desk had no enthusiasm, uninformative, no sense of welcoming. Did not even supply a map of the resort?? until I asked. There's absolutely no room cleaning service. When we finally got to the room the shower door handle fell off and hit my mother hand. The window in the bathroom will not close you cannot adjust the blinds. The front entry door shows light through that it's not sealed, thank goodness we didn't need to use the washer dryer as the dryer had rust in it. You will get awake every morning from 3:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. with roosters crowing. The only best thing at the location was the bartenders. Bo, Lisa and ?Lisa's husband were wonderful.

The stay was very good. The unit we had was a large 1 bedroom with an amazing view. The staff at the bars and restaurant were excellent. The pool was nice but very shallow. The gym was great with an amazing view. The downsides were the front desk staff. Every person we encountered treated you like it was agony to have to do anything for you. Also the very steep hill to the hotel is very challenging if you are not in good shape. Make sure to get a car if you are unable to walk up steep hills especially in the heat. The last item that was a downside is, you are over the marina so there is nowhere to swim nearby in the ocean. I will not stay here again based on the downsides.

Excellent property and view of the harbor. Room was spacious with well maintained decor. Plenty of electrical outlets. Restaurant was open and facing the harbor. Friendly staff and excellent meals. Pool area was large and clean with open bar / restaurant along side.

First time in St Thomas, stayed at Pirate Mansion for 7 nights with my 11 years old boy. Let me advise some people. I owe es business and I hate to leave bad reviews but it’s not fair for us as a tourist to expend money and services is bad. When you get off from the airport get ready to wait for a taxi for about 1 hour, there is no Uber, no private taxi, when we finally arrived to the hotel the welcoming was terrible, the lady’s at the front desk were like they were boring, moody and hate their job. My room was in down in the hills, and then had to go down to the second floor, the doorman drove us and not even offered help with the luggage’s, still tipped him with $7.00. The room was all dirty, I went to the lobby and to let them know and showed them pictures and they didn’t care. I said okey, I am here let me try to make the best of this trip. You better be on shape because it’s a lot of walking, ups and down. Taxi are expensive, they charges by person, even if it’s a baby. You can’t walk because it takes you 30 minus to go anywhere by walking, by cars about 3-7 minutes. The taxi are not that nice but thanks God I found a good one - He is very respectful, on time and will take you anywhere. Best beaches, Lindquist beach omg 😍😍 the best beach ever - $7 dollar, you have to bring food and drinks, they have no restaurants, but it’s gorgeous, calm, clear , quiet- honeymoon beach, magen’s bay beach - avoid cokie beach.

I specifically chose this room over another because it stated there was a king bed. The bed was actually a full. When we asked staff, they said all beds in the pension were queen. It was not. I slept on the pullout couch because there was no way we'd both sleep comfortably on that tiny bed. Overall an average stay, but felt misled.

Our one night stay was disappointing. The condo appeared clean when we first entered but the next morning as we walked around I. The condo the bottom of our feet were so dirty. I also found an unwrapped piece of candy in the floor by the nightstand. The shower has a little mold and leaked near the door. As I checked out the following day, I passed on the information to two receptionists but neither seemed interested and advised I should have said something the night before. The bartender was friendly but continually dropped the “F” bomb. Not a variety of great food choices. Overall the property was dated and staff not friendly upon check in or check out. I will not be returning.

The room actually had more amenities than what was in the description. Loved that there was a safe to put our valuables in while we were out of the room. We were amazed at everything that was included for a very reasonable price and would definitely stay here again if we get back to the island.

It was not good location at all nor was it like a resort. It is hard to get around or to go anywhere you must either rent a car or be prepared for taxis the restaurant is very mediocre and high priced if I return I will stay somewhere else

I love the location of the property. The views from around the hotel are spectacular. Being one top of a high hill lends to a lot of climbing stairs to traverse the grounds. The property is still showing some affects of the two hurricanes in 2019, but are constantly working to resolve this.
