On Monday evenings, guests at the Best Western Plus Emerald Beach Resort are treated to a complimentary party with rum punch and chicken wings.
Guests with laptops have access to complimentary high-speed Internet access. Other amenities include a business center with computer and with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). The 24-hour fitness room offers cardio equipment and a television.

This Polynesian-style, Virgin Island resort offers 90 guestrooms in four three-story buildings arrayed above the beach. Room balconies are furnished with chairs and cocktail tables and offer views of semi-circular Lindbergh Bay and sunsets on the Caribbean Sea beyond. Room access is via wood staircases (no elevators) and outside corridors. Tropical decor includes pale wicker and rattan furniture. Rooms are cooled by fresh air, ceiling fans, and air conditioning.
Amenities include wet bars, compact refrigerators, and in-room safes. Phones with data ports provide dial-up Internet access (surcharge) and voice mail.
Dining
The Palms - Open-air, beachfront restaurant with weathered-wood columns, high ceiling, multiple seating levels, potted plants, and flowers. À la carte breakfast menu (surcharge). Lunch menu includes salads, burgers, sandwiches. Dinner menu includes salads, sandwiches, burgers, seafood, steak, ribs. West Indian buffet with steel band Friday nights. Monday night complimentary rum-punch-and-chicken-wing party. Sunday brunch.
The Beach Bar - Open-air spot adjacent to pool and beach. Snack foods and tropical drinks. Lit by tiki torches after dark. Hours vary.
Recreation
Guests play tennis on the resort's lighted court or swim in the outdoor pool. Snorkeling gear, kayaks, and small sailboats are available for rent at the hotel. An on-site dive center books scuba-diving, snorkeling, and fishing excursions (surcharges).

“Loved this place”
My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Emeral Beach over the New Years holiday. WE felt the hotel was very clean, comfortable, and a great location. The staff was friendly, the rooms were great. Balconies for every room with oceanfront. Some people complained about the airport noise but we weren't bothered by it, actually it was cool to watch the planes come and go. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and did some snorkling on the side by the rocks. The restaurant was fantastic, even talking to people who lived in town, they reccommended the restaurant here. Was a drive to get to Red Hook, about 30 minutes, but by the second day we mastered the roads and found it to be a fun drive.Get place to stay if you have a early flight, right next door.
“didn't have a long enough stay!”
we booked this hotel just for a night so we would be close to the airport for our early departing flight the following day. we wish we would've booked a few more days! the beach was beautiful despite the proximity to the airport. dinner was a bit overpriced for not so great food, but other than that, we loved it!
“I will be going back”
The staff was great. I read a lot about the food being expensive but it was good since they have to import all their food. The room look new and refreshing. It look like they were remodeling a lot of the rooms. The only problem I had was transportation cost. I read that we could walk to the hotel but did not want to take the chance. After seeing for myself we will walk to the hotel next time. The taxi is $20 EACH WAY.

The hotel was on the beach , the room looking out at the ocean with sitting porch. Close to the airport, and close to town. Will stay there again.

Great vacation!!! We've been to many places around the world and St. Thomas is one of the most beautifull islands in the carribean. The hotel is not very big, but very comfortable, clean and in a perfect location!!! The staff was very friendly and helping, the food in the restaurant was very good and the beach is just wonderfull!!! It's a laguna and the water is blue and clear and warm and there's no waves !!! Would go back anytime in a blink of an eye !!!
“Hotel”
Very relaxing. Beautiful private beach, calm, and relaxing. The only problem i had with the hotel was the service at the bar and restaurant was slow.
“Stay over until the plane left”
This hotel was a nice refreshing place to stay while we were waiting to take our flight out the next day. We had stay on another island and the cost of staying there just to sleep was kinda high. Check in was easy and the pool and beach were fund for the kids. Took a 5 per person taxi to town and had a great time. The rooms were nice and they held our bag until checkin time while we went to town.

Check in was at 4pm. We got there at 4:36 pm and the rooms were not ready. Staff was very friendly and professional the entire time of our stay. Rooms did not have carpet but I think that's a St. Thomas thing. Room was gorgeous with an awesome view. Restuarant food was good but expensive but all food in St Thomas is expensive. Never made it to the pool spent most of the time on the wonderful beach.
“Ready To Go Back”
This hotel was better than the one i stayed in before. I loved it, its a place i could call home
