This is a very beautiful hotel! The service provided by Nicholas was much appreciated and helped make our stay memorable! We also received wonderful service from Marie and Bryan! The dinner in the restaurant provided by Chef Julie Chaix and the Restaurant Manager was exceptional! We look forward to staying at this wonderful hotel again!

Lovely property. The ground was beautiful, the service was excellent, staff were very nice and helpful. Our only complaint was the lay out of the room. It was a suite.The toilet was by the entrance to the room, without a sink to wash your hands. You have to walk and enter the bedroom to get into the bathroom to wash. The rooms were not soundproofed..We can hear everything that was going on in the back early morning. Overall, it was nice..it’s a place where you can relax and enjoy. They have a nice pool with quick service if you need anything.

We stayed in a 2 bedrooms cottage which was well appointed with a large living room/ kitchen. The service is excellent and the restaurant is of a high quality. We have enjoyed our stay.

We had to wait too long to get our room. They held our luggage, but it kept us from enjoying the pool. They were accommodating to help us. Staff very professional. Property was beautiful. Location great. Carrieres de lumieres was wonderful

This is a gorgeous property near Les Baux! We were very impressed with it and loved room number 9. We were in a garden room with a precious patio area surrounded by tall shrubs. We enjoyed swimming until 7:00 and ate dinner at our small table outside our room. The only thing we didn’t like were the dogs and children. We love animals and kids but not at such an elegant place.

This is a beautiful family owned hotel in a great location next to Les Baux de Provence. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel transfers you to a Provence movie with its ambiance. The food at the restaurant is close to perfect. The only recommendation is for the owner to stop by and greet all guests and not just friends. Also if she can make her friends feel welcome by putting their country flag on the dining table, the hotel should do the same for all international guests. It’s the small touches that make a difference.

LOVELY ROMANTIC CHARMING YUMMY .. MUST STAY!!!
First know, this isnt a cheap stay. This is a first class well appointed romantic lovely stay. Everytjing perfect and worth every euro spent. Staff wonderful. Upgraded room a must do. Most expensive dinner i ever had but worth every bite. 185 euro for two. Note...take your time.... Skip breakfast buffet +20 euro and go into town for fresh croissant and coffee. But, their buffet is very nice and yummy if you want to stay in. If you are American, then know ... its lots of bread, cheese, cured meats, yogurt, fab coffee, and expect slow service. Its not rude....its normal to actually take your time. Just let them know what you want, and they will do otherwise expect what we Americans would consider a long wait ... which it isnt... its respectful... This place is soooooo different from a box hotel. Felt like i was at someone's home. Everything was perfect. It's expensive, bit worth it for this one.

Les Baux is beautiful. There are top restaurants within a mile of the hotel. We did not eat dinner at the hotel, but we had a delicious breakfast. The grounds, the rooms, the flowers in the room, the tasteful style of the place was enchanting. Best stop on our 9 day trip.

When we pulled into the drive, you could hear the oohs and ahhs at our good fortune at finding a place that oozed ambience. The grounds with the pool and out door areas were warm and inviting. The rooms were very comfortable. Beds were groomed with nice linens and baths included towel warmers. Breakfasts were delicious and dinners gourmet. We left feeling very pampered.

Lovely Calm Setting
The grounds of Benvengudo are lovely. The landscaping and the main building itself are in true provencal style. While the Les Baux area can be a real circus in the summer, the hotel was quiet and calm. The location is ideal in high season for getting an early start to Le Baux (before the busses arrive) or to the Carrier de Lumiere before there are lines. It's proximity to nearby St Remy is also a good way to get there for the always crowded Wednesday marché. Our room was quiet and we slept well. The breakfast buffet was copious.

Excellent Choice
Stayed in room in main hotel. Clean crisp decor with large and modern bathroom. Large window balcony doors in the room overlooked the courtyard and beautifully landscaped property. The staff was exceptionally polite and attentive. We had dinner at the restaurant in the courtyard and was one of our best dining experiences in France. Not only were the dishes top quality and properly prepared- the staff went out of their way to make sure no detail was missed. Well worthy of the Michellin Star and they don't over charge for it like many other similar restaurants. We will be back for sure and would recommend to anyone staying in this area of Provence.

Peaceful stay at Benvengudo
Benvengudo. Is the idyllic picture of Provence! The concierge (spoke English,French,German) was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean,secluded, and peaceful . The pool and grounds are beautiful ... It was too cold too swim. The restaurant was fabulous... Waiters did not speak English but were efficient! We took the train from Paris and rented a car in Avignon... We had no trouble finding the hotel and we drove to Marseille and several other cities (following the map was easy) during our stay. Highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area!

This hotel is in the countryside of Provence. It was a perfectly apponted country home setting. The grounds were lovely with a beautiful pool. The best meal we had in France was at the hotel restaurant. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

This Place is absolutely beautiful, set in the country and we did love the stay. We reserved the Bastide Suite, we wanted to get the best room for our anniversary. The suite was a Large two room suite, we specifically wanted it because it had a whirlpool tub with LED mood lighting... Well upon checkin we mentioned that our safe was open but with the lock bolts left out in the locked position.. a simple problem to fix.. The checkin person was very nice and assured us they would get it fixed, when we came back that eve, still not working. We mentioned it again, and said we don't want to take all our valuables with us when siteseeing, again, said it would be fixed. Then that night we filled the tub with water, and tried turning it on.. the motor was seized, would just buzz. The next day we mentioned it didn't work, she said maybe you don't know how to use it.. I assured her, its a simple push on button... and the motor is seized.. (I do own whirlpool tubs.. and am an electrical engineer..).. So she walked up to the room and we showed her and she agreed it didn't work, and assured us she would get it "taken care of". I also told her the towel warmer was broken.. no big deal.... The next night I mentioned the Tub again and said this was our anniversary and really wanted it fixed, and also mentioned the safe still had not been reset so we could use it. We stayed there 4 nights. Constant friendly - will fix.. but Nothing ever fixed- Not good

we got there not expecting much, and we were surprised by the excellent service, the location is priviledged with nature. ALL staff, specially the ones at the front desk, were candid and helpful! We dined at the restaurant, it has around 10 tables, delicious modern cuisine. totally recommended.
